The atmosphere is always great. The staff is super polite and service is impressively fast despite being busy. The food has been pretty good in all my experience. I’ve had their meatballs, chicken parmesan, fries, pizza, and salads. I love that they started offering complementary focaccia, it was delicious! Their portions are pretty good too. The only time I wasn’t satisfied was my espresso was warm instead of hot and one time the creme brulee was soup-y.

Edit: went during dinner tonight, if I could give this place ten stars I would. Staff is super, owner and chef are in the loop and stopped to say hello. This place is five star dining without the five star pricing. Tonight I had the veal parmesan and it was outstanding. I have a goal of trying everything on the menu, everything is such a pleasant surprise. I would expect this level of Italian authenticity on federal Hill or Boston. I love this place.

I went there yesterday for lunch. It was my first time being here. It was great. The woman working at the bar was so friendly, I don’t know her name but she was really one of the best servers I have had in a long time. She made great recommendations. I hate the hot honey pizza which was really good .. my friend got the spaghetti bowl with Alfredo and meatballs .. this was absolutely to die for. Such a good idea if using the pizza dough for a bowl- I’m not even a huge Alfredo fan and I ate half of her lunch. I will def go back.

We went on the most beautiful day, ate at a table outside, and had perfect shade from the trees across the street.
Fettuccine alfredo, cookie , salad and appetizer were great.
The atmosphere and decor was designed beautifully.

My gf and I had a great dinner 10/10 highly high recommend truly the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life, quality food! You feel great after eating. Everyone inside is so sweet and outgoing!

Had a wonderful 1st time experience, calamari appetizer that I would definitely recommend! Our dinner was delicious as well service excellent with a smile! Gald we picked the right place for a Birthday Dinner! Thank You was a big hit! Will defiantly be back.

Great meal,atmosphere and wait staff. Only thing, the appetizer we ordered was an Italian tower. Though it was very tasty, it was cold. The fried ravioli was overcooked and hard. The wings tasted great, but again they where cold. That’s the only thing they could’ve done better.

I want to start by saying the staff was incredibly sweet, kind, and very attentive, truly the best part of the experience.
Unfortunately, the food itself was a major disappointment, and I ended up sick all night. The dishes simply did not resemble authentic Italian cuisine. I’ve never had calamari served with pesto and banana peppers, and it was soggy, unappealing, and honestly inedible. The mussels in chorizo sauce were not far behind.
My main dish, the chicken piccata, had no flour, no flavor, and was served over soggy pasta drenched in oil instead of a true piccata sauce. My husband enjoyed his chicken parm, but even he’s had better. The sangria was watered down as well.
Even dessert missed the mark — the crème brûlée was cold, and the tiramisu tasted old.
For a $158 bill, this was incredibly disappointing. Never again. Please do better for the sake of your wonderful staff and your customers. You missed a big opportunity.

I had a meeting at Primo on Water Street. Danielle, whom served us was on top of her game. I mean service was on point. We started with some appetizers. I tried the arancini risotto balls ($14). Plated with 4 arancini balls. The balls were nicely fried. Very cheesy, but the risotto was underwhelming. The dish was served missing the marinara. The aioli was not great and had an odd flavor. I rate them a B+ but as cheese balls not as arancini. I tried the calamari (A-). It was served in a pesto. It was ok. The foccia on the table was okay (B). I next tried the cheese and meat board called “Antipasto”. This was really great. The fresh citrus on the board was perfecto. The mustard on the board was odd and misplaced. The cheese selection was great. The cured meat was good. It was $22. (solid A)
For my main course I did “Zuppa Tuscana”. I assume Tuscana is a play on words?… Zuppa is feminine as should toscana in Italian…The wording like the soup was a very americanized version of Zuppa toscana (lit. ‘Tuscan soup’ ) also known in Italy as minestra di pane (lit. bread soup’). The broth was nice but underseasoned. The potatoes were undercooked and hard. The bacon was not rigatino. It was still a good soup. (Solid B).
My collegues said the Chicken Parmigiana was kind of tasty (A- on their scale). They said the Chicken Parmigiana was salty though for their taste.
Overall service was A+

If this mismatching is an attempt to make a nod to a nonna…no chair would everrrr be mismatched…I hope it has been designed to just be a talking point…Dio ci aiuti. The bathroom was very clean. My friends who drank said the drinks were well poured.
Will try again to see about the pizza.
