The girl behind the counter wasn’t overly friendly, but I won’t say she was all out rude. She seemed a bit more annoyed that we were there about an hour before closing though. Where the problems started was waiting more than 25 minutes for burgers (in a fast food set up), pickle fries cold, and an over done tenderloin (my wifes). Add to that, the family who ordered after we did, was served their food first. I couldn’t really hold a conversation about the meal with my wife, over the loud music, and vacuum being run right beside us (I understand you close at 9, everywhere I worked we let the customers enjoy their time in the establishment, closed THEN cleaned). My burger was standard, and nothing to write home about. That is until the sequel. I spent the rest of the evening with a major case of gut rot!
Normally I give a second try, because everyone has a bad day. But I’m not so sure I want to visit the commode that many times again
Now for the food portion, the food is okay the patties are thin and one burger isn’t enough to fill even a child. The tenderloins are pretty decent but don’t expect the tenderloin to be much wider than the buns. Overall the entrees didn’t really appeal to me but what did were the appetizers and sides.
Sweet potato fries are delicious and the pickle fries go beyond expectations! The chili cheese fries are great, they could use some sour cream offered on the side or atleast up charge for it. The onion rings need to be double dropped just to be a little extra crispy. But the only catch is for all the food they have to offer they always seem to be out of supply’s to make the food! Needless to say it is a family owned business so it’s understandable but for the little amount that they have to offer on their menu when they don’t have supplies to make your favorite item on the menu it’s definitely a kill joy in my opinion. They are freshly opened since July 2020 but at some point they have to start getting used to the supply and demand. Again tho it’s understandable for a family business trying to play it safe on supplies but at the same time you drive away people for that as well.
This review is subject to change as my experience with this new restaurant does.
First, I want to say that this is the restaurant I never new I needed. So far I’ve had a 3-patty burger, chicken sandwich, French fries and sweet potato fries(SPF’s) . Both sandwiches were delicious and so were the regular fries. I don’t like sweet potato fries in general, so no opinion there.
Now, you may be thinking, “Why’d you get SPF’s if you don’t like them?” To which I would reply, “They gave me the wrong fries.”
I know this happens. I know this is a new restaurant. I know I’ve only been there twice. No problem, but it really shouldn’t happen. Just take 2 extra minutes and double check the orders. If you made a mistake, own up to it. Fix it. Move on.
I want to see this place prosper. I want to eat more of their food. Its delicious! I don’t want to get the wrong order.
If you’ve read this far you should give them a shot. Order a burger! Maybe my one experience was a fluke. I hope so!
