I remembered this place from when I lived there 15 years ago so my husband and I stopped in. It was amazing! The best jalapeno poppers we’ve ever had! I got Alfonso’s Special and it was huge!!! I was only able to eat half of it! My husband for a pork dish that he said was perfect!! We were so full and happy when we left! We ordered flan to go and it was so good!! The waiter was very kind and attentive, even while he was serving other tables and the chip and water kid was on his game!!! My husband ordered a margarita and said it tasted great as well!! Very satisfied and worth every penny!!! Also beautiful decor and we loved the atmosphere!!!! Thank you!!

Much more authentic than chipotle. The food was good I had the enchilada, my friend had enchiladas, my other friend had the chicken enchilada, my other friend had the steak enchiladas. My other friend also happened to order an enchilada. The waiters were a little inattentive at times, but we got a lot of water refills. Overall a great experience!

Family owned and ran. Pilar is the best cook!! Her mom (Carmen) is the nicest lady who greets everyone as if they are family! And always has a smile on her face! The bar tenders (brother/sister duo) Christian and Zerenea are the bomb! They whip up some mean cocktails! Veronica is cool and held out when needed and Frank is always a cool guy and good waiter!!

We came on a busy night and there were a number of large parties dining. Every chair in the dining room was occupied. The kitchen was backed up, and the service was very slow. I think we waited 40 minutes at our table to even be greeted by the waiter. Had to ask multiple times for basic things like a fork, and a glass of water. It was over an hour from our arrival time to when our appetizer came out. They were clearly over extended this time. Previous visits were not slow at all. So pro tip: if you walk in to be seated and there are no tables available, it might take a really long time to get served.

Service was fine atmosphere was alright. But food was terrible and extremely overpriced. I ordered a plate with chicken beans and rice. The beans tasted very stale. I think a can of beans would have had more flavor. The ammount of chicken was probably less then a 1/3 of a pound and it was very dry and tasted as if it had no seasoning or flavor. The rice was not to good either. there is a taco bell around the block and it tasted more authentic then this restaurant. I feel like I got scammed for paying 19$ for a plate of such awfully dry and flavorless food. I went here over a week ago but I couldn’t stop thinking about how annoying my visit there was. I ate with 4 other friends and they all agreed that there dishes were awful. The parking was also very crammed.

We have been going to this restaurant for years. Food is always good and plentiful. Service is always great, parking is ok if you get there early. Only negative thing is that they don’t use the air conditioner, so it is borderline uncomfortable. We will still keep going there because the food is great
