Beware! Mold in food!! I try to eat healthy but not a lot of options so I grabbed a ($14!!!) small salad and ordered a hot chocolate (which taste like pure sugar drink – gross). I just happened to take a picture before my meal to share with a friend and then I took a few bites and notice the cucumber (center one) was gross so I took it out and then took a few more bites and looked closely at the other cucumber on the left and saw mold!!! Uhhh gross as my fork prob touched some when I was trying to remove cucumbers. I took it to the cashier and they barely even care. I was shocked! They were like oh well that’s the last one of that salad so would you like a refund? lol like yeah damn what do u think? Like that’s it? I didn’t want to make a big deal so took the refund and left but was shocked at the lack of courtesy or care. Sure enough I woke up at 1am with diarrhea and ruined my night sleep and partially ruined my trip. (I circled the mold part after the fact in the pic that I initially took and didn’t notice when I first opened it). So shocked especially at how expensive this place is and also as part of jackson hole resort it’s terrible.

The guy at the counter couldn’t be less bothered to work there, he was on soduku the whole time.

Apparently he’s never heard of iced latte even though their menu says latte. They also can’t make espresso there.

We later asked for a regular latte and and a cup of ice, the “latte” was a cup of tasteless who knows what.

In general one of the cafe worst experience even though at a prime spot and location.

Small cafe at bottom of main lodging area. Deli type food is ok, drinks and all else are packaged and overpriced but average resort prices.

This cafe is an expensive little snack spot at basecamp with many options when it comes to pastries, sandwiches, coffees, beers, and bottled drinks. I tried out a delicious quiche which I highly recommend, a hot chocolate, beer, & a powerade. The sandwiches also looked pretty great but I didn’t try one. All in all, would recommend the quiche and sandwiches but be prepared to pay a lot for them.

Quite possibly the absolute worst sandwich I may have ever consumed. Extremely disappointing for the location and the price, save your time and get food from a gas station.

Bought a bowl of chicken noodle soup for $9. Wish I took a photo. Barely enough to consider as a snack. The server insisted it was 8 ounces. That’s all you get. Wow! Won’t do that again!

The $8 chocolate chip muffin looked beautiful but tasted of old hamburger grease. Was starving but couldn’t eat but a few bites. Felt compelled to write a review because why did it taste like that?

As a grab and go, it’s pretty mediocre. Most things are really expensive for what they are. They do not have much of a selection that is actually available, and at least some of the tables are beyond their useful life. Also, it is understaffed for as busy as it can be, so it can take a little time just to get through the line. We decided to spend just a little more and opted for the Handle Bar for our other ski breaks.

This place needs an overhaul with better offerings for the prices they charge guests. You have the location and foot traffic, now how about offering some drinkable coffee, cocoa, and edible nibbles? Not good at all.

Lousy attitude by young woman at cash register. She spoke English but with an accent. Seemed annoyed that I was ordering food and especially when I asked how I will know my sandwich is ready. She mumbled “they call your name”. Well, they didn’t call my name despite others being called at my table, who ordered after I did. I went to the counter and asked where was my sandwich and it had been sitting there below the counter for a while. “Oh, sorry”. The bacon & egg on bagel was crappy to top it off MacDonalds does a much better job. They should be ashamed!
