It was pretty empty at first but then started filling up. The server was very friendly but I’d say a bit too friendly. Being an introvert I just wanted to eat my food in peace. But he was just trying to make the experience fun for us so not saying it’s bad but it’s also not for everyone. Apparently they had some award winning food. While the food was really good I’ve had better Pad Thai but another stir fry they had was probably the best I’d had so far.

What a local gem! Came for dinner on a Wednesday and was pleasantly surprised by how busy it was. Everything we ordered was authentic and delicious! As a small business the owners were very hospitable, welcoming us as if to their own home in Thailand. Definitely give this a try if you’re ever in Wellington!

Such good food served by the friendly owner who was very attentive. He was also very funny and had a great sense of humor about one in our party being late. I tried the veggie red & green curries and both were perfectly done and piled full of vegetables. The rice is super fresh and doled our generously every few minutes so you don’t have to worry about getting hungry.

I really love the food and the setting of this restaurant. Sometimes, it can take a bit long if it’s busy. Just bring your patience. What I really do not appreciate is that the owner/server keeps touching me while making his jokes. The jokes aren’t necessary for me, but harmless. I don’t like to be touched by a stranger in a restaurant, though. Looking at the reviews, other people seem to like this kind of service though. I really do love the food a lot so will continue to order, just for takeaways next time.
