Looks can be deceiving. I was initially skeptical, but I decided to venture inside and was pleasantly surprised by the food. It was incredibly flavorful and well-seasoned, arguably the best I’ve had. I’ve been up north quite a bit, and I can confidently say this place is exceptional. The atmosphere is a bit old-school and not very updated, but the food and customer service more than make up for it. I’d definitely return.

I had the chicken fried steak breakfast with a side of bacon. The chicken fried steak, bacon, and over-easy eggs were cooked great. The American fries could have been cooked just a bit longer. The coffee was decent. The young lady serving was very friendly and did a fine job. I will definitely have breakfast there again and would like to try some of the lunch/dinner items.

First, I can’t tell you low much I appreciate the positive energy of your staff, Giselle and Jayden. True inspirations. Great young people who are positive, energetic and kind. I really enjoyed visiting the bakery and learning more about the history of Bottineau from the people who have coffee there every morning. This is truly a resource for this community. Great food. Great experience, great vibe.

The burgers were great. The Ruben sandwich was not good they ran out of some ingredients and used other ingredients and called it a ruban.i wish they would of told me of the different ingredients so i could have picked something else. There french frys were very good.and they did give us a military discount.

By far the best place to get breakfast in town. The service was not bad at all, not amazing either but it was busy when I came in so I understand ( I had already started eating before I took the picture there was the sausages as well)

What a wonderful surprise… we decided to get breakfast before we flew back to Texas a couple weeks ago. It was great! The people were friendly and the food was delicious. We were too full to try the pastries…next time.

We ate here once in early July 2024: never again. The restaurant was very cold in the lower portion but because of mobility issues, we couldn’t navigate to the upper level where it was warmer. The waitress was very unfamiliar with the menu and needed every thing we asked to be vetted by, I assume, the owner, which took longer than needed. Gluten free options – salad!! Not very gluten friendly, as suggested on the website. We waited a loooong time for our food, which was surprising because there were only 3 other occupied tables who were already eating or just having coffee. When the sandwiches arrived 30 min later, they were burnt. The final insult was when we went to pay the bill. Turned out the waitress had given us outdated menus so the prices were much more when we went to pay. When we asked why we were given a menu with the incorrect prices, the response was that they didn’t know why? Next time, I’ll go hungry instead of visiting this establishment.

Pulled in off the highway and stopped in for a bite while we were on a road trip. First thing we noticed on entering was an extensive array of baked goods, a bit of something for everyone.
The next thing we noticed, that we did not expect, was a taco buffet. It was taco tuesday.
Since a couple of us love tacos, it was an easy choice. A selection of hard and soft shells, meats, veggies, all the fixings, plus a nice little selection of appetizers too. Nice big meal for a decent price.
Service was friendly.
We filled our bellies and grabbed some cookies for the road.
All in all, a recommended stop.

We ate inside the restaurant as it was 20 degrees outside, which I’m realizing now that is why I couldn’t keep a hot coffee. Had an overall wonderful experience as I had the French toast Feast for only $12. Massive proportions 2 9 x 12 oval plates packed to the edges. 6 slices of 3” thick French bread. On the other was cheesy hashbrowns browned to perfection along with 4 bacon and 2 sausage links. The food was good enough that I could have still eaten when I left. Highly recommended.
