Delivery Order – Ordered Fried Chicked and Fish. It looked nothing like regular Fried Chicken or Fish but taste was not bad. For the price, quantity was quite generous and the food was cooked properly and tasted decent.

However, the fries aren’t too great the few times I went — and it’s bc of cooking technique. Their oil is either not hot enough, or the fries are not allowed to sit before being dumped into a container, trapping steam and logging them in literal minutes.
It’s a chicken spot tho, and they are just getting by. They have a no location, down the block (right side) when facing the street corner. Less homeless now and a brighter more “safe” feeling ambient.

I payed 9 dollars for 3 pieces of chicken and a can of soda when it was actually less then what I payed for I was ripped off in front of my face he knew he charged me more then what it actually cost I could of just got the mixed box which comes with 5 pieces for 9.50 dollars and a can of soda which would of cost me a extra 1.50 so the total would of been 11.00 dollars I don’t know how much a piece of chicken cost but if you get a leg from another chicken restaurant around my way it’s only 1.50 I got 2 legs and a thigh, the thigh would of been 2.50 from where I am so the total would of been 5.50 plus the can of soda which is 1.50 so all together it would of been 7 dollars in total he charged me a extra 2.06 more plus the card fee which is 50 cent to its add I wouldn’t recommend anybody in Elizabeth to go to this chicken restaurant they are total scammers even if the chicken leg cost 2 dollars and the chicken thigh cost 3.00 that’s 7 dollars plus the can of soda which is 1.50, the total would of been 8.50 plus card fee is 50 cent so that would of been 9 dollars but I still was charged 6 cents extra so I’m missing 6 cents I was still ripped off and they restaurant was relocated because they roof collapsed in so they moved next door to it god don’t like ugly people please be aware of these places you go to and buy from make sure you get every penny you paid for the meal if the math isn’t right back.

I hadn’t been to this restaurant for years, so I thought I’d give it a try again to freshen my memory. Unfortunately, I regretted that shortly after my first bite. Before I get into that, I’d like to add that the service I received was great, the atmosphere seemed peaceful and inviting, tidy and lovingly kept up, but that was where the good pretty much ended. I ordered the 21 pc shrimp combo with fries, and a large chicken box. Both of which are generic choices, but I feel any good restaurant can pull off these choices fairly easily so I like to start there. The breading on the shrimp was super rubbery once I got home to enjoy (after about a less than 10 minute ride) in addition to being bland. The fries, though shoelace (my favorite) were soggy from the start, and hugely unenjoyable, I ended up disposing over 70% of them. The chicken was the better part of my purchase, and the dish I looked forward to trying the most. Once again, very MEH, only slightly flavorful, the skin wasn’t seasoned too well, as one bites into the chicken expecting flavorful juices to flow into their mouth, they will be disappointed. Hot sauce is required to make the chicken bearable. Also, the chicken smelled a bit off? A smell lingered in my car afterwards that kind of threw me off for a bit, but I contributed that to maybe the kind of oil they use. All in all, if I go back here, it’ll only be to get a drink, or some ice cream, to which I probably wouldn’t since the location is a bit inconvenient.
