Wonderful kitchy spot that reminds of a very old drive-in Ice cream stand.
A very big menu with lots to choose from. Prompt service and GREAT quick food. Will be our go-to spot when in Imperial Beach. I loved the rice especially and the carnitas taco and the pollo asada plate (became dinner) was big serving with freshly cut veggies, cilantro, etc…

I LOVE this place. I always order chicken sopes but with grilled chicken and no lettuce. Yesterday, I tried the Albeto burrito and it was phenomenal, tastes similar to a Philly cheesesteak but better.

Recently moved to Imperial Beach near this place and now eat here on the regular. I grew up in Chula Vista, so I know good Mexican food. Food is delicious authentic taco shop food and the staff is amazing! If you are in the area, this is your new spot.

So a couple years back I tried this place a couple times I was not impressed!!! at all but recently I decided I’m going to give them another chance! I grabbed a Bean and Cheese burrito with some red and green sauce. Hard to mess up, but they did a great job! Fat burrito and it was delicious! I’ll go back.

Typical Mexican joint. Would not go out of my way to come here. They have Mexican American food. The meat has a fresh taste to it as in it tastes kinda bloody and unseasoned… to each their own though

This place is right around the corner from my house and it’s actually pretty good. Went there yesterday because I didn’t have time to go to my favorite Mexican food place Armando’s. Definitely not in the same league as Armando’s but a decent enough place to eat if I have to, (but absolutely not my first choice). ♂️.

Best taco shop in Imperial Beach by far! Never had a bad experience here the staff is great and nice. The food is cheap, but not cheap on quality. The quality of the food is wonderful! The only thing is seating is limited so if your not going to eat there call in for pickup so the wait is not long, also parking is tight so if you have a large vehicle it can be hard to find parking here.

It is a good place to eat, it has delicious food, its service is good, its cashiers are very friendly, but its cooks are a little rude, a dark-skinned guy with tattoos on his hand is rude when making the food, I could see him through the small window, I ordered a number 8 this morning, no cheese in the beans, of course I listened when the cashier told him no cheese and the guy ignored her when she told him, they should choose their cooks better and have well-prepared people to make better food, I have seen this guy aggressive on several occasions, I will never change my favorite place to eat but the owners should select their team well

Received the best chile relleno burrito I’ve ever had around 3 minutes after ordering. Good salsa as well, not too smoky of a red, not too mild of a green. Inside seating has 4 booths and two half booths, with around 3 outdoor bench tables.
