Greeted immediately. Atmosphere was great. Family dining experience alongside fun sports bar vibe. Food was delicious, cooked to perfection. The Rosco sandwich with tots and spicy ranch… 10/10. Staff was kind, courteous and attentive. There was an entire cornhole league participating in an event in the big event space and it didn’t affect the restaurant atmosphere at all. Will definitely be back.

Ordered the Christmas Day special. Pot Roast. Loved it. They brought me a large Ceasar Salad by mistake but it was ok. Very good. Offered me large slices of Smoked Brisket to sample. Not on the menu. Loved the Brisket, tender and full of flavor (2 thumbs up). The Strawberry dessert was excellent.

This place is all.around fantastic. Food fantastic! We ate the best mozzarella sticks ever. Really hot and stayed hot. The shrimp.tacos are divine. The hamburgers are so big and juicy. Large menu, friendly attentive staff, super clean. I love this place. Too bad im passing through town or I’d be back over and ober again. It’s a real gem in a small town

Such a cool spot out in the country! The food was delicious, specifically the wings, and the service was so friendly! Love the giant screen at the bar. Perfect for football! The only reason I have four stars was because it took forever to get our food. We ordered wings and it took about 30-45 minutes to get. We could see the kitchen was quite backed up, but all we had was a 6pc wing. This prevented us from ordering entrees.

Wow. There is something for everyone on their menu. My group had the huge, hand breaded chicken fried steak, the frito xhili pie, the grilled salmon, the house super burger, and I had the fried super burrito. The server was excellent, the food was delicious and hot, and everyone had a great time. Heads up, though, that it is a large metal building so most of us couldn’t get any cell signal and it is rather loud or difficult to hear people sometimes simply because of the large building. It was a great experience all around, though. You won’t find a more varied menu. Good luck choosing!

I went at lunch, so it was quiet and the tvs were all on Olympics, I was slightly disappointed that I didn’t get to watch the dukes of hazard in a themed restaurant but that was just me. I got the Luke’s Lunch box and I couldn’t finish it. It was massive! Memorabilia all over the place and plenty of tvs for sports events.

We had our 45th reunion this last weekend and they went over and above to make it a grand night! We had 133 people and the setup of the tables was perfect! The pork chops, mashed potatoes and green beans were delicious! Everything was wonderful! While decorating we ate The Balladeers Special!! It was so yummy!! Thank you Boar’s Nest for a very memorable evening!!

The food was amazing. Sports bar atmosphere, but not loud. Several TV’s on different sports., no sound
Music in the background at a level that you could hear it and still have a conversation. The food was great with nice portions. Chicken fried steak dinner and salmon dinner. Both meals had broccoli, which was perfect, not overcooked like most restaurants do. Also had General.Lees Grease Trails, which was not greasy. Nice portion for 2 or 3 people
Service was excellent
We will try it again when in the area

First but not last visit to this restaurant. I love that it is isolated, quiet and spacious. Love the menu descriptions. The menu has various common meals but not the same flavors and presentations. They are 9so much better. I ordered the chicken fried steak and I have to say that it is one of the best in this area. The smashed potatoes were homemade and the mac and cheese is one of the best I have had in a long long time. Their fried pickles are really good. My husband tried the patty melt and he loved it. We had the sample platter that had samples of the appetizers. See the attached pictures. Great size servings. Amazing food, great service and atmosphere. Cannot wait to visit this place again to try something else in the menu. Love that it is close to home and opened late. You have to try this place. You will not regret it.

We went to the boars nest for the first time after hearing about it from friends in Greenville. Food was amazing our server, Jamie, was so sweet and attentive. Telling us about the “off the menu” options and the new desert. We were too full to order it unfortunately and had too far of a drive to even take it to go. The place was packed too and even so the servers still were on it! Being a server in the past I get it and they both looked like they were “in the weeds” as we say but had a smile in thier faces the whole time. Back to the food, we did get an appetizer and two different meals to try several things. VERY BIG PORTIONS. The cooks know what they’re doing. Best burgers. Best queso. Best everything. Even with it being a Saturday and busy the wait still wasn’t long to get our food. AND they make the best sweet tea. Will definitely go back when we come back to town.
