Don’t judge a book by its cover… pulling into the parking lot, I was skeptical. We drove over 50 min after stumbling across a video on Instagram. The food and warm welcome was top notch. This old country store, and the staff were so inviting and made us feel like regulars. We ordered a chicken salad BLT, cheeseburger, and a side of French fries. All was delicious but the cheeseburger was incredible. The slaw was the perfect addition. The fries were super crispy but not dry. We will definitely return soon.

Everything was 5 stars here, but wish I could give the atmosphere 10 stars. If you’re passing through rock hill on I-77 this place is worth the 10 minute detour. Great people, great food, and a great place to have a meal.

While on our way to do some skydiving, had some time to kill. Came across this country store and decided to stop for food.
If you are ever in the area stop here and eat for one!!! I had the sausage egg and cheese, was terrific! Very fresh tasting!
Places like these are hard to find, I hope you find this one!

Bit of a hidden gem convenience store. Walked in 30 minutes before close and asked if they were still cooking. A man who I assume is the owner started rattling off the whole menu auctioneer style. Last thing he said was a bacon cheeseburger with peanut butter, and I’m a bit of a food weirdo so that was right up my alley. Burger was very good and cooked fresh to order. Everything is cooked as you order so be ready for at least a 10 minute wait. Walked in for an energy drink and they didn’t have many, but what they did have you can’t find at other convenience stores in the area. Plenty of jellies and jams, habanero brined pickles and they also have a good selection of fresh meats (bacon, pork jowls, etc.). They also have a sitting area if you would rather dine in. A very good store with good food and friendly workers worth checking out if you’re ever in between Chester and Rock Hill.

Cute family place to go. They have fresh made food to order, toys, trinkets and more too buy. Lots of glass soda options and in the back they have tables to sit and eat but also games for the family to play on. It was a fun outing for my family

My wife and I went there Friday for the first time. I had 12oz hamburger with skimpy fried opinions and cold hard French fries. My wife had 2eggs with home fries and 1 pancake. We also took home less than a pint of their homemade chicken salad which was very salty. Our check was $47 and change. That ridiculous was the quality of food we received. On a good note lots of nostalgic items to look at.

Drove all the way from Lancaster to try their hotdog. Let me tell you about my experience. I drove over an hour there which I love hotdog I ordered a hotdog plate and an extra hotdog And when I paid for it, it was a young lady. I wasn’t paying attention to what I was charged now keep in mind it was close to their closing time. I called in ahead when I got down the road after getting my food they charge me $19 and some change and my wife was like that can’t be right so I said OK. I will call them when they open Monday to see what I can get done. I called Monday. They never answered my phone call. I called a lot. I called Tuesday. They never answered my phone call. I called a lot. I think that was a little excessive for three hotdog and a basket of fries. I will cough up the extra money and never go back which One grain of sand out of a whole sand pile won’t make a difference. Also, the chili was a little too salty and really dark due to probably me getting there at the end of the day. Fries were awesome but I don’t think that them hotdog are worth $$20 Maybe was a mistake maybe it wasn’t maybe that’s outsiders price who knows this is my honest review

Went for the first time today and was pleasantly greeted by the owner. The atmosphere is wonderful and the sandwich I ordered was delicious! The owner was sure to spread the good word of Jesus which was highly welcomed! I will definitely be visiting this store on a regular basis and recommend it to others.

Awesome little store / place to eat. Very nice people, and fast friendly service. Food was great , really enjoyed the burger. Will definitely stop back in whenever I’m close by. Has nice variety of items to buy from the store part. Plenty of parking and easy to get in and out. Glad I stopped.

Really neat country store, felt like I stepped back in time 30 or 40 years. The man running the place was very nice, he had a lot of stories about the history of the place. The food was really good. I enjoyed a cheeseburger and fries. It was very good. I just love supporting these small mom and pop stores and old country stores. They also had games and such for the kids to play, real games like foosball and ping pong. I recommend a visit.
