Very small portion sizes. The sweet potato fries were over cooked. The slaw had no taste. The beans were good. First time eating here, Not my cup of tea. But the girl that took my order was polite & nice. The fried pickles were just ok.

The food was good, but of course the sizes were small. I ordered the sausage and Burns combo, and it only gave me three burnt ends. They were delicious, but I could’ve used at least one or two more to fill the plate out for the price.

The food was very good – we shared a plate of brisket, pulled pork and smoked Cajun sausage. The coleslaw was tasty. We really liked the sweet potato fries. The only negative is that the restaurant is one very large room with all hard surfaces and nothing to help with noise when busy – it was sometimes hard to hear our table conversation, even in a booth.

Pretty expensive and the food is not very good for the money. Very beautiful place though and the waitress was very friendly.
Coming from Kansas City I have high expectations for bbq this was probably one of the worst. I liked the sweet sauce but the spicy was very strong of vinegar I have never tasted sauce like that before. Could definitely use some better people cooking and seasoning the meat. Not sure if I’ll be back new to town and trying to learn where to go for good food.

The food was good but the portions were small. My margarita was made with tequila and triple sec and I didn’t drink it. No one questioned why I left it. I had to hand my dishes to the bartender so we had room to sign the ticket. She only took the dishes that were handed to her and left the rest. The kitchen crew and much of the wait staff crew was standing around a dining table when we left. We’ve been here four or five times and this is the first time we left disappointed

Amazing place to eat in part of the old town of Fort Scott. And it’s just a few minutes walk to the 1st National Cemetary and the actual Fort Scott which was established in 1842.
The food at Brick Street is amazing. From their salads, to their mac n cheese, to their chicken wings….it’s all wonderful!
I love their chicken legs, which are smoked to perfection. My kids really enjoy the burnt ends, and my wife loves the pulled pork.
There is something for everyone because it’s all good!

This was a very disappointing experience. Went there with my family and friends on Halloween night hoping for good food but that did not happen. I only ordered one loaded baked potato. Nothing else. Later everyone else’s food came out and mine came out so late that by the time I actually started to eat- everyone was already done. Took a bite and a very long black hair came out of my potato ( clearly not mine because that’s not my hair color). That really rubbed me the wrong way so I told the waitress that all I wanted was a side of fries. Again this was not a complicated order. Anyways, after a few minutes they came out with another baked potato in a to-go box. That’s clearly not what I asked for but I was still hungry and decided to eat it. It was cold. So then the waitress told me that she would take it off the check. She did not ever take it off the check. Very very dissatisfied. I will not be eating here again. Also I would like to mention that the waitresses came off as very sidetracked with other non-customers that they seemed to talk to for most of the night.

The atmosphere is so nice and there is lots of room so you don’t feel crowded. We dropped in on a Saturday early afternoon, and it wasn’t busy. We were seated immediately, and our server was quick to get our drinks orders. They arrived quickly, and we got our food ordered. It was a hard choice, but I decided on the pulled pork sandwich and added onion straws, jalapeños, pepper jack cheese, and pickles.
My husband ordered the half slab of ribs with fries and baked beans. We went for the spicy BBQ sauce.
The food was excellent. Both meats were perfect, and his ribs were delicious and really didn’t need a sauce. We were both very happy with our service and food. We will definitely return. It is a bot difficult to find good BBQ in our area, so we are excited for Brickstreet BBQ.
The sauce was flavorful. It could have been spicier for us, but the meat was plenty good without a sauce, too.

I just had the brisket sandwich with fries and added coleslaw and beans. Brisket was tender and flavorful, coleslaw and beans were awesome! This was an excellent lunch fairly priced and the portions were very good and filling! My server Adon I think?, was great!

We were actually intending on eating somewhere else today but when we got out of the car we were hit with the most fantastic smell! We didn’t know this place was open yet so we decided to give it a try. The staff was friendly and did a great job. The food was delicious. I loved the sweet potato fries, grilled veggies and fried pickles. The cornbread muffins are fluffy and sweet. Highly recommend.
