Thrasher’s fries are a 10/10 and easily some of the best fries on the Ocean City boardwalk. Crispy, salty, and perfect with vinegar. Just be careful — the seagulls will definitely try to take some from you.

Feel lime this place has become a right of passage when visiting OC so we tried the fries. Yes they were good fries but nothing to write home about. Also expensive for the amount you get, you are basically forced to get the large due to their sales strategy. Overall they are good and it’s a must do experience while on the boardwalk. Feel they could do a bit better with the salt and vinegar sanitary wise.

Thrashers is my go-to when I visit Ocean City, though I think I just got unlucky with an overcooked batch this time around. Cashier was friendly. There was a guy who was hanging out in the back of the store with the door open… he apparently thought the customers who were eating at the tables wanted a private rap concert performed by him. He must have been a friend of someone working because he was in and out of the store jamming out. Very 11pm behavior at noon on a random Tuesday — could have done without the private concert as my 4-year old isn’t into rap, but it’s hard to be too annoyed when you’re eating fries.

All I have been reading about these fries and it was a big disappointment. Talk to the kid at the window who had no idea about the company and why no ketchup was served with the fries. The fries were soggy and was very disappointed with the taste. Never again.

These fries are excellent. They don’t provide ketchup, but the fries are so good you don’t need it.
