I go regularly every week for the last two years. I usually go by in the morningish and afternoon. There is an older maybe late 40s, heavy set lady with messed up teeth in the drive through. The service I receive from her is that she don’t want to be there, rolls her eyes, does not listen to the order. If I ask for chips and sauce, I don’t get them and have to ask multiple times. Been given the wrong orders having to come back. When I order two or the orders she will not give you a bag with the food in it. Sauce just spilling out on me and in my car. There was one time i gave cash for two burritos she didn’t give me my change back, had to ask for it. And why do they keep putting fries in the burritos when there supposed to be potatoes. The food portions are very light during the day. The night shift makes the food better and listens.

We got carne asada nachos and a burrito meal. Both were not edible. The burrito meal was supposed to be ground beef, it came with shredded beef that had a pink tint to it. The beans were barely brown at all, mostly white, tasted like dirty oil. Neither orders had any flavor other than OIL. Only a few bites of both meals were taken along with $30 of our money.

I frequent this location often and while they are usual great, I have a few qualms with them. Everytime you order a salad, a nacho or even a burrito with a shredded meat you have to drain them. Today I ordered a super nacho with beef and by the time I got home (less then 10 min) I didn’t have a single dry chip. I drained my “nacho” and it ended up having over a 1/4 cup of beef broth.
If I wanted soup I would have ordered the menudo. I also requested them to not add pico and it seems they added extra.
This is the second time I have had an issue with them in a few years but there staff needs to learn to drain the meats before putting in on the menu item.
Soggy food is difficult to eat and completely ruins the dining experience when you have to eat tortilla soup with extra pico de gallo instead of the nachos you ordered
If they continue the same practices, they should at the least offer the patron a spoon instead of the fork.

As everyone knows I am a big fan of Adalberto’s. But tonight I am rather disappointed. I ordered my usual Taco Salad with shredded beef, extra sour cream & guacamole. To my disappointment it was sloppily prepared. Instead of the shredded beef that I ordered..I got pork! WHERE’S THE BEEF? I need a spoon to eat this!! Too messy for a fork!! I am very dissatisfied! I can & will say that this Adalberto’s has lost me as a customer…& may I reccommend that you send your employees to “shadow” & “learn” the proper way to run a restaurant to the Adalberto’s at the Madison & Dewey location? I have been a loyal customer & fan there since they first opened. And I am proud to say that not once have they ever misdone my order! Also learn some manners as to customer service. Nobody likes a rude inattentive employee!!
I am adding to my review because Adalberto’s gave me a free taco salad in offense to their mishap. This time I am very pleased to say that it was “Superb”! It was the most beautiful creative artistically taco salad that I ever received from Adalbertos. Almost too pretty to eat! It was made to perfection! The shell was fried to a beautiful crist. Topped with just the right amount of beans, rice, beef, lettuce, cheese, sour cream, guacamole topped off with pico de gallo & green salsa. I am proud to admit that I found the beef!! And it was SUPERBLY DELICIOUS!! I give big udos to Adalbertos for doing right ! I am still a big fan. And I will be coming back!! I am posting pics of the delicious replacement!

Ordered Carnitas as i always have. Looked & tasted like chicken. No flavor and it was dry. Took it back to let them know of the mistake. He told me it was in fact carnitas. Never offered to remake them or refund me. I usually love their food and I always get carnitas but this time it was all bad

Typically I go through the drive through early morning, I drive uber. Almost always order a breakfast burrito, they’re so cluckin’ good man. Ham, egg and cheese burrito is my number 1. Its about $12 after taxes, and the burritos are huge, easily enough for two people. They’re food is always good, I think they take great pride in it. Great salsa too. Haven’t gone other shifts but the late night/early morning crew kick butt.

I came in today Ordered 2 Toratas with all the works, we literally got two pieces a bread with a big piece of Carne Asada steak and lettuce and Avocado. I took a bite and all I could taste was the burnt piece of meat. I’ve had Tortas from other Adalberto’s and I have always been satisfied. This location had bad costumer service. No “Hello” no “thank you” we even tipped them. This location on Fair Oaks is not good! Go To the one on MADISON OR DEWEY, They’re great good service and good food.
