Hey, I just moved to this area and this place kept catching my eye so I finally went in and gave it a shot. Seems like a very lovely place with friendly regulars and competent staff. I had chicken tenders and tots and they were cooked up fresh and quick in front of our faces. The place is quite cheap for this area of Portland too.
Edit: went back again. Great service and great food again, plus a heck of a drink. I update to 5 stars, check em out! Definitely you will get your bang for your buck.

Houndogs is your typical neighborhood bar with charm! It’s so cute, great service, and awesome burgers! It’s definitely a “regulars” bar, like Cheers. All the regulars are very friendly and welcoming! If you happen to be in the neighborhood, stop by! I think it’s a great!

Very good late night hambuger & fries for a very reasonable price, on Sunday, Monday & Tuesday evenings. Affordable drinks, as well as VERY friendly service. A little divebar hidden treasure with a jukebox and great sound system at SE Holgate & Milwaukie Avenue, in Portland, Oregon. Great place!

Fantastic, perfectly cooked home fries and broiled jalepino deluxe pepperjack cheese burger. Flippin’ YUM!!!

I enjoyed my visit here, had some hand cut fries that where tasty (but a bit undercooked), staff was friendly and managing folks and COVID measures well. The space was a bit tight but everyone was masked and following rules. There is a great little patio as well.

Very homey friendly atmosphere. Didn’t have any food on this trip, but the bartender was fixing up some tacos for someone and they looked delicious. Great VP! It seemed like everyone was winning…Including us. We will be going back. Thanks.

So we dropped in on valentines. Patrons and staff were ridiculously friendly. Felt very much like I was a part of something. I’m not a super social person and I talked to three different people. I also won a hundred bucks playing this silly ocean slot machine game. I think Bug the dog was good luck personally. Thank you girl! The corn dogs were meh but the fries and potstickers were super tasty. We will definitely stop by again. We only spent 11 bucks on food too! What the heck? Super affordable!

Adorbs little SE Portland hole in the wall. This area has great parking options, the neighborhood is chill, there’s gas and snacks and weed all within a couple blocks.
The bartender was awesome. I’m autistic and have a difficult time in social situations, but she had it all under control. Kudos! There’s an outside patio/dining area where you can smoke and vape, keno and other gambling machines, pool table, many TV’s, clean bathrooms, tap and bottle beer.
All in all it’s a cozy, convenient neighborhood hangout.
