I only got “cheese puffs” and they were not “Cheese puffs”. The stuffing was like jello type mimic. It was too sweet, NOT (cream cheese). As well with the “sauce” it comes with, once cold it turns hard as if it was jello! The staff was nice and fast but the ingredients were not there!!

The food has continuously gone downhill. They have been there for years and used to be good. The food is cheap, but you get what you pay for. I asked for them not to over cook the General Tso’s Chicken, but they did any way and very little sauce. It’s ashame and I wish it was as good as it used to be.

Ordered a combo of 6 wings with shrimp fried rice through drive-thru a few weeks ago. The rice was good but I enjoyed the wings. Good portion for the amount paid.

When the nice person hands you the order, don’t be foolish just because it’s a takeout box. You better take it with both hands because it’s heavy 🙂
They have a huge menu- All the flavors are strong, they give a lot of food. If you don’t like it, it’s because you ordered wrong.
Teriyaki wings were bold, lemon pepper where tasty, general Joe had some kick too.

If you have multiple ordered I recommend getting both fried and steamed rice for balance.
I really like the curry chicken, mild but flavorful.

Bonus, they serve kool-aid here!
When you walk in the door you’re ready to eat when the aroma of fried crispy chicken and sweet kool-aid hit you.

Gonna try the appetizer ribs next time.

I had an amazing experience at Timmy Chan’s ! The food was absolutely delicious — I ordered the Wing dinner , and it was cooked perfectly. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The restaurant was clean, the atmosphere cozy, and everything came out quickly. Definitely one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the area!

Chicken wings were good.
Rice was yummy.
Big portion.
Egg Rolls were super delicious, everything was made to order, so it was hot and extra yummy!
The restaurant/Drive-Thru itself looks terrible. The outside menu is old and cracked and hard to read. The drive thru window is fogged and scratched up. Definitely not a welcoming place from the outside.
But food was good, a little pricey as well.

I love Timmy Chan’s. I moved away from Houston a few years ago and this was my first chance to have this treat that used to be a weekly staple in my life. I’ve eaten it most of the locations but the one on highway 6 was almost close enough to my apartment to walk so I went quite often.
I was always amazed that I could get a meal of general tso’s chicken and there would be one box of nothing but chicken like 5 lb of chicken almost it seemed like. And then another box would be nothing but fried rice a huge box of fried rice. And for the price, there’s no way i’m eating that by myself in one sitting… So either I’m sharing with someone and got a meal for two or I’ve got lunch for the next day. Either way I’ve never been able to eat all of it in one sitting. Besides that, who is going to leave there without an order of egg rolls or wontons or fried biscuits.
And also, I would be doing them a disservice if I didn’t mention their chicken wings, because that’s what a lot of people go for…but I usually stick with my Chinese food Staples.

They have different locations. We were just passing by and wanted to give it a try. We were not very hungry. We just ordered 10 pieces of lemon pepper chicken wings which it came with rice & biscuit. The biscuit was a little oily. The chicken wings were small but they tasted delicious.

The rice is horrible, it’s so dry pouring a bottle of water on it will not resuscitate it. No eggroll just a little piece of flavorless bread. Chicken was very syrupy and to sweet.. JUST DON’T!

Delicious hot food made right. No nonsense, great portions, clean tasting food no old oil taste plus they line the styrofoam containers with tin foil so your piping hot fried catfish won’t have styrofoam melted onto it (other Timmy Chan’s just don’t gaf this one does tho <3)
