I really enjoyed the food, and I appreciated that it is a family-owned establishment. People are personable and truly seem happy to serve you. We were the only “non-Mexicans”, which made the ambiance even more authentic. My wife and I enjoyed our lunch there on our way to Savannah. All in all, it is a non-pretentious Mexican place with good food and good people.

I had been looking for a place to eat for lunch in this area and I decided to google Mexican food. Now I love this type of food and have found just about every authentic Mexican truck, house or small place there is that serve Mexican food in the low country but never in this area. Well to my surprise… I found one, Taqueria-La Parrilla Grill. On my lunch break I went to get food…it was packed with people. I ordered Mexican tacos and rice and beans. Absolutely outstanding!!!! They even have a lunch buffet!!! Which is a first for me to see. The dishes that came out of the kitchen represented true Mexican cuisine. I will definitely go back every chance I get!!!!

This joint is run by a family . It’s always fresh . You could also request a specifications on your a la carte dish . Don’t go by the ambience. If you want to wat those awsm burritos, that’s the place !
