Tucked in a small strip on Hawthorne Blvd in Lawndale, **Pedrocas Burger** is the novelty Brazilian burger spot that stands out with its bright green-and-yellow signage and cheerful vibe . The place is classic fast-casual: order at the counter, grab a number, and food comes out quick. The **convenient location** makes it an easy stop off the 405 or after a beach day in nearby Manhattan or Redondo. Plenty of parking in the lot, too.
**Service was friendly**—the staff greeted with big smiles, patiently explained the Brazilian-inspired menu, and my order was ready in under 10 minutes even during the dinner rush.
Got their signature **Pedrocas burger**, and it’s definitely a unique experience: juicy beef patty topped with corn, potato sticks, cream cheese, bacon, and a fried egg, all on a soft bun. The novelty factor is high—crunchy, creamy, salty layers that feel like a party in your mouth. It’s messy in the best way and surprisingly filling.
That said, deductions based on my personal preferences keep it from a full 5. The **secret sauce seasoning** was mild and creamy (more mayo-based than bold or tangy), the **patty taste** was solid but not deeply beefy or charred like my favorite American-style burgers, and overall the **Brazilian style** (heavy on starchy toppings and creaminess) just isn’t my everyday vibe—I prefer simpler, sauce-forward classics.
Still, Pedrocas earns a strong 4.5 for delivering a fun, flavorful twist that’s executed well in a friendly, convenient spot. If you’re curious about Brazilian burgers or want something different from the usual smash or In-N-Out run, this is worth trying. I’d come back for the novelty.
I had:
1. Brazilian burger spot
2. X-Picanha – top sirloin
3. X-Cabuloso – melted Mozzarella style cheese
4. Churrasco – all beef patty, sausage, Brazilian cheese
5. Pudim
6. Flan
The ingredients are not good quality. My burger had a very unpleasant taste: the bun was stale, the shoestring potatoes were old, and the tomato and lettuce were not fresh.
The only good thing was the burger patty itself. Even so, I only took two bites and threw it away.
On top of that, the soda cans were dirty — there was even hair on them.
Horrible experience.
This profile is not fake, as he is claiming in the message. I am telling the truth about my experience. I am not obligated to say something was good when it was actually bad and even gave me a stomachache. Also, his bathroom is very dirty.
