FOOD POISIONING. Avoid. I got super SICK, hospital type of sick. After a certain amount of time, they are supposed to throw out food, as it develops bacteria. They sold me an old-fried-potatoe ball. If you want healthy fresh sandwiches and pastellitos, don’t go here. I recently went to Cachapas y Mas for the same and was delighted (hygiene, fresh food & also on Essex St). The Cafeteria is also a good one, also on Essex street, not too far from Miguelina’s. It’s a shame: Miguelina’s was good for so long 🙁

They were extremely nice! Food was delicious and affordable and they were very quick I was in and out less than 20 mins! I ordered 2 pastellitos of chicken and cheese I saw on tik tok! And a Cubano and a large passion fruit drink 22$. Worth every penny.

This place has good food but they no longer sell Sopa de Pollo anymore which was my go to so I got a bistec encebollao but they don’t have rice and beans only tostones. I found it to be very overpriced for just meat and tostones. Platanos are 3 for a dollar at the store….how am I paying 13-15 dollars for half course meal. I felt kinda robbed. They need a better menu or if not lower price.

Surprised their is not many people eating here theirs constantly people dropping in and out I got a cheese empanada and 2 ham and cheese.
When I split the cheese empanada with my hands the cheese pull was huge it was so good with some spicy sauce this is deff a hidden gem
