Being from Hyderabad, Biryani Pot caught my attention. I tried dine in and take out and was hooked on to their amazing menu, quality and quantity of their food.
Here’s a few items I tried and loved.
1. Irani Chai. If anyone’s a Irani chai fan, it’s for you. I was having the chai one chilly afternoon and saw dozens of customers coming in just for the chai. Looks like the locals are in on the secret.
2. We had Pepper corn masala in the restaurant this time. It was out of this world. The cord was fluffy, masala well done. And the quantity? 4 of us are to fill.
3. Paneer Biryani: the Well marinated, soft, large paneer pieces seemed like their speciality. Did not see that elsewhere. Seemed like one of their top items.
4. While I was impressed with their signature dishes of Biryanis and tandoor items, I was more impressed with their breakfast items like Dosas, parottas, etc.
I do not normally review restaurants but felt like giving my feedback. I tried another popular restaurant in Tustin as well. I will have to holdback that feedback given how bad that experience was.
Everything was amazing. The portions were generous and the leftovers tasted even better the next day. I highly recommend this spot.
The staff was cordial and prompt. Over all, great food.
