The location is easily accessible, staff is not unfriendly but they certainly seem to prefer not interacting with customers, cleanliness inside is hit-or-miss, but the menu selection is outstanding. Best place to get a crunch cone (or cup!) in Waterloo.

Chocolate ice cream was sour ! Then tried a vanilla cone dipped in chocolate, that chocolate was nasty an the cone was so hard couldn’t even eat it, threw it away!! I won’t be back

Stopped here to pick up ice cream for a homebound friend. Went through the drive-through and ordered. Pulled up to the window and sat there for almost 10 minutes. No one ever came to the window. There was only one car in the parking lot so I drove by to see if there was a large family at the counter and only one person there. I won’t be going back.

The little store was full, there were 3 or 4 younger employees, 15+ and an older one,assuming manager,
The employees were very kind and full of smiles and enjoying their work it seemed. I chose the multiberry blizzard treat and got my order in a timely manner.

The food/dessert is great, but the staff always seem annoyed and inpatient. I have started lookin at the menu online before I walk in because I get stressed out when they are staring at me while I browse the menu. Even when nobody else is in line. They can often mess up your order too. But the are fast and the food is good.

There was an incident while I was there with another customer being unruly towards staff. Staff handled it appropriately and we’re more than polite to me. I was a bystander but the situation was well handled.

This Dairy Queen has always been known for it’s wide variety of menu options. Easy access makes stoping for a treat quick and uncomplicated. Although slightly pricey the soft serve and your choice of fixins is always a delight.

Got there before 9pm, at least 10 mins. Sat in line waiting for someone to take my order and when I got to the window, they “couldn’t serve me bc the machines were shut off” immediately after they served the person in front of me, two blizzards.
