Ordered 2 spicy chicken sandwiches to go. They weren’t quite ready when I arrived, which was fine; however, both sandwiches were cold, there was absolutely no sauce on either one, tomato was way under ripe and green, there was no red onion (they used raw yellow onion instead) and the lettuce was literally rotten. The fries were hot which means the sandwiches were done before the fries, that was the only good part. There was not much effort in making things right, just a simple refund. This was the second time in a row that our meal was sub-par, thought last time was just an “off” day but they had used super mushy shoestring fries that were dripping wet, no onion, crappy tomato and greens, and a plain old potato bun. This place has been inconsistent and definitely not worth the premium price they are charging.

This as the first time I have been here and this def won’t be the last. Kate our server was the best!!!! But not only was the service. Amazing but the food was delicious!!!! I really can’t wait to go back and try more of the items on the menu. They have everything from sandwiches to steaks and seafood but the homemade pasta dishes are amazing!!!!! You must try this place and sit in the bar area with Kate she’s so knowledgeable about all the food and she won’t steer you wrong.

Fantastic food! Suggest getting a reservation but make sure you select the right location. Try the vanilla old fashion! Halibut was perfectly done and delicious! The shrimp and scallops was popping with flavor!

This dinner was our 3rd time dining at Marilyn’s and it’s gotten better each time! I was just traveling for work and hit a few James Beard nominee restaurants on the west coast and the dinner we had at Marilyn’s last week was comparable. Kudos to the chef and kitchen!
The first visit was the menu was from August 2021 and the table enjoyed the salmon burger and lots of pasta options. The second visit was a winter menu from Feb 2022 and we had the salmon, pasta, lemon chicken, and halibut. The most recent trip was July 2022 menu and our favorite yet. The live music made for a fun atmosphere. Management puts a lot of details into the space and it has always been clean. Our server was fantastic; super quick with service, provided great recommendations, very personable. The food was top notch quality, huge portions (we ate the meal 2x with leftovers), GREAT craft beer and wine selection, and the desserts are also to die for. We have been in Morgantown for almost 15 years and this has become our top 3 favorite local restaurant.

We had a lovely bridal shower with about 32 people at Marilyn’s of Morgantown. The food was delicious and cocktails were a nice option for our guests. They were very accommodating with the room arrangements and it was easily handicapped accessible.

Online menu is out of date. Food was good the 3 of us rated the food a 8/10. Focaccia bread was delicious 9.5/10. Spent $240 for 3 people. French onion soup was sub par. Chocolate cake was good.

I’m gonna be honest not my favorite food. Ordered the grilled chicken and veggies and it was so sweet I couldn’t eat it. My Italian soup had a mass of eggs I think. Not appealing. I recommend Stefano’s instead.

We went back to Marilyn’s for the second time before the new year.
They’ve scaled down their menu but they still have a lot of options. I immediately went for the ultimate smashburger.
Plus they had Lacto Kooler sour beer on their drink menu!
Think the ecto cooler juice boxes if you’re old enough except in sour beer form.
The food was wonderful as was our waiter. The burger lived up to the smashburger hype as I finished every bite. The fries were delicious as well.
It was a nice way to have a good meal in between holidays. All the best to the new ownership and if I hear about more brunches anytime soon, I’m coming!
2 years ago: I loved it! I had an Ode to Carmella and I was amazed. The candied bacon and pimento cheese dip were excellent too. Can’t wait to go back!

I was able to eat at Marilyn’s for lunch today! The food was absolutely amazing. House made potato chips were so fresh, the 1/4 lbs hot dogs were amazing with the house made chili was sooo good. Also had some sort of their version of an Italian hoagie which so to die for the fresh meats and two different types of cheese really made this sandwich. On top of that the bread was fresh and just perfect. This experience was amazing, Robert our waiter made sure we had everything we needed to have the best lunch! Definitely recommend Marilyn’s for lunch any day of the week! 10/10

Marilyn’s did an awesome job for friends surprise birthday. The grilled chicken in the chicken Alfredo was seasoned and cooked very well. The house made pasta was on point. They know how to host a large party and make sure the food is served fresh and hot.
