To our surprise for us it was not long unloading experience bulk sweet potato.We went from MS with a broker DeDroot. Worried because of bad reviews, but everything is fine. The staff is friendly, they turned off the refrigerator so that it did not work empty. Driver arrived on Thursday evening around 9pm and drop the trailer, we had an appointment for 6 a.m. on Friday. At 9:30 a.m., the trailer was empty. Good experience with Alex (broker) at all stages, after sending the checks for the car wash, they sent an updated rate con.

My husband has been there over 24 hours with a load from Vardaman MS. He is being told he has to stay there until Friday at least because they’re 2 days behind. They won’t release his trailer. Don’t bring bulk sweet potatoes in unless you want to be stuck. Load was booked through Degroot Logistics. Every trailer from Mississippi is in the same situation so whenever they decide to start unloading these trailers they will be there for awhile still after that.

If I would’ve read the reviews before picking up at Hams Produce in Snow Hill, NC; I would have denied this load.
If you are delivering to McCain Foods in Wisconsin Rapids, expect to be unloaded in 1 to 3 DAYS !

If you are picking up and delivering to these places, make sure to negotiate an outstanding rate.
