A spiritual experience.
Listen… I don’t know what’s happening in that kitchen, but whoever’s back there deserves a national holiday. This General Tso’s chicken didn’t just go off — it signed me up for a lifetime membership. I took one bite and immediately started reevaluating my priorities. Family? Career? Mortgage? Nah. My new purpose is serving under General Tso’s command.
The chicken was perfectly crispy. The sauce? Sweet, spicy, and emotionally supportive. It hugged my taste buds like my prom date. I took bite number two and the wind chimes out front started clanging like a prophecy was being fulfilled.
Halfway through the meal I found myself saluting my plate. By the end, I was ready to reenlist. If the General asked me to march into battle, I’d be out there with a plastic fork and unmatched enthusiasm.
10/10. Life-changing. I would trust this dish with my deepest secrets.

My go to dish at any Chinese restaurant is Singapore Mei Fun, so I’ve had a lot. China Taste’s is by far the best I’ve had. The flavor was excellent. They definitely nailed the spices in this dish. I ordered shrimp with mine and it was a generous portion. I will be trying other entrees soon!

Order chicken lo mein with pork fried rice. There was maybe 6 small pieces of chicken and lots of red onions (never had lo mein with red onions) the rice was only rice and onions no pork no veggies just yellow rice and onions!! It had no flavor at all even when I added soy sauce. I have ordered from this place a few times before and was always happy with the food ….I don’t know what happened today. I did not get the 2 egg rolls that were supposed to come with the combo platters nor did I get the 2 liter of sprite…..I paid over $40 for a chicken lo mein combo platter with pork firied rice and an egg roll…and a 4 piece wing combo with pork fried rice and an egg roll …….I have pics I wish I knew how to add them so yous can see I’m being truthfull!!

I loved this place. Me and my boyfriend would order from here literally every Sunday. They have great food. So yesterday we go to get our usual order right? Immediately after I start feeling a little weird. And that goes on for the whole evening, then I wake up in the middle of the night and both me and my boyfriend have extreme food poisoning. We both had to miss work, and now I have to take him to the hospital because he can’t even keep water down. Idk what was up with you guys yesterday. Also, we ordered two different things. So it wasn’t even like just the general tsos was bad, two different types of chicken gave us the same food poisoning. This is my biggest heartbreak stay safe out there Ephrata

Placed an order tonight online for delivery. After looking over the menu online I decided the honey chicken looked good so I ordered that with 3 other combos for my family. Was impressed when it said an hour for delivery but came in 30 minutes. I handed out everyone’s food and looked at my honey chicken, it was sweet and sour chicken, I thought they got my order wrong that don’t look like the picture they had on their menu. I called them explained I just received my delivery order and I ordered honey chicken and they gave me sweet and sour chicken. The man replied and said no that is the honey chicken we put the honey sauce in the there. I said well that’s not what the picture shows on your website and nowhere does it say that’s what you do, the man just kinda laughed and said yeah sorry. I never order sweet and sour chicken because I don’t like the taste of the chicken and the breading. The man just kept saying it’s honey chicken sauce in there. They clearly weren’t interested in trying to make a customer happy when what they showed and what I received looked completely different Just kept saying that’s honey chicken. I will not be ordering from them anymore. The first picture is off their menu the second is what I received.

Finally walked over to this downtown Chinese restaurant to try it out. Got a cashew chicken/fried rice lunch combo. It was a good deal and I was impressed with the amount of vegetables, including mushrooms, but everything was pretty greasy. I would try a different kind of chicken next time. Wonton soup was better than I expected. They weren’t too busy so it was a short wait. They do not currently have done in.

I ordered beef and broccoli but without the broccoli. I enjoy the flavor of the beef but the broccoli not so much. In a previous order I had ordered a rice and beef combo and got little to no beef. Today I order a large container of beef and broccoli, without broccoli of course. Instead of a large I received a small meal combo container filled with beef. I paid for a large amount of beef and the restaurant decided to be cheap and give me a small container of beef.

I recently moved to PA and China Taste turned out to be a great choice for delicious Chinese food at an affordable price. Chicken with cashew nuts was excellent along with the egg roll which seemed better than the usual generic ones you find at a Chinese takeout location. I always add a couple of the homemade raspberry cakes on the way out. They are only a buck each and very tasty especially with a dollop of whipped cream. The lady behind the counter is very pleasant and friendly.

China Taste has been our goto for Chinese in Ephrata for a long time. Our guilty pleasure meal is the General Tso Combo (ordered Extra Spicy). Tonight’s order has to be the best we’ve had from there, hands down.
