For A Few Bites More
We were only in Hawaii for 10 days, but ate here for dinner twice, but would have been more had we been here longer. Definitely our go to spot for the north side of the island. Don’t be afraid to sit up at the counter and enjoy the chef’s at work. Fun atmosphere, great pizzas, friendly staff and great service. We enjoyed it all.

3 of my family overall enjoyed if we ignored the price.
Over priced compare to what they served.
Scampi pasta was really good but quantity was small . Should be more to be worth for 30 dollars.
Today’s special Deer Steak was good but most part was rare not medium. So 38 dollar price was not right.
Noticed some equipment is not being used in the Open kitchen.
Quality, Taste and Service are there, but Overpricing and Cooking skills should be improved.

Delicious pizza and the grilled octopus was delicious too! Decadent desserts and excellent service. (Rick was our server). Warm rustic Italian ambiance. Best dinner I have had in Kauai.

Stopped in tonight to order 2 pizzas -one cheese and one pepperoni- the hostess tersely directed us to the bar, where the friendly bartender informed us of their new automatic 20% gratuity for all take out orders! The receipt shows the total inclusive of the tip and then your invited to add an “additional tip”……Mele Kalikimaka

Highly recommend this place if there is a landslide and no where else to eat, and you really really want overpriced pizza and pasta.
The menu is quite expensive and the food quality was so-so. The lasagna had so many layers of noodles and barely any sauce…very disappointing for a $30 dish. The lasagna noodles were touching each other with no layer of meat or sauce in between. It was as if they only wanted to put sauce on the top to save money. We arent even sure if there was braised beef inside the noodle cake. The mushroom medley pizza was not much of a medley, I could see one type of mushroom. The rest of the pizza was oily and the toppings slid right off the crust after one bite. Pizza cooked like that is a huge thumbs down.
Also we had to wait 20 minutes to be seated in an empty dining room! We asked the hostess why and she said their policy is to wait for larger parties to arrive to fill up the seating and we would have to wait for one of the smaller tables to open up. They wouldn’t even seat 2 people at a 4 person table…. When we finally got seated we got seated next to a light switch panel that employees kept using.
Foodland is right around the corner, next time we will just go there.

Great Italian food with wonderful friendly service. The team really seems to like working together and it’s fun to sit at the bar.
The inside is really cool and they leave windows open to let the breeze through. Don’t be fooled by the outside of the building.

Delicious food, friendly service, cozy ambiance. Went there for a Tuesday night dinner with family. Ordered the wild mushroom pizza to share, plus calamari and salads. Two of us ordered the grilled octopus for our main plates. Two ordered grilled lamb chops. One had the hanger steak. All excellent. Wine list was perfect. Had a bottle of white and a bottle of red to share. They have some good Italian reds like a Montepulciano d’Abruzzo and a Nebbiolo. All they need to do is add an Aglianico (Taurasi please!!) for our next visit. For dessert, we ordered gelato (2 scoops, our choice of flavors). I had Olive Oil/Vanilla and Rocky Road. My niece and nephew had Mint Stracciatella and Rocky Road. By all means, get the Rocky Road and Olive Oil Vanilla. Ended the meal with a nice espresso after dessert to wash it all down. On our way out, I admired their wood-fired pizza oven and the bar area. Probably a fun place for drinks and pizzas at the counter. We will definitely be back. Tutto bene.

$20+ for a 12in pizza is one thing, but then you should probably make sure that it’s a great pizza. Adding 15% gratuity for take-out orders just seems over the top at that point.

Wonderful dining experience. While we were sad to see our old favourite restaurants in this area go (Tsunami, Chuck’s, & CJ’s) Piazza is definitely a step up in atmosphere and culinary taste. The staff was extremely polite and attentive and the food was original and full of flavour. Excellent menu selections, crafted cocktails, and spot-on wine selections put this on par with offerings from St. Regis hotel while maintaining the neighbourhood feel. We hope to see Piazza on our return trips to Princeville.
