Got a roast beef sub, quite delicious! Everyone was nice and it’s a classic family owned convenience store. Definitely recommend the food, though I noticed different of the products on the shelves were a little out of date or expired, but I’m sure they are doing their best

There’s nothing I am going to say in this review that is going to surprise anyone who knows this place. It’s an unassuming party store that excels in making top tier subs. I have been getting food from here for 25 years. The food is good because of the quality of the ingredients. My go-to’s are a belly buster Italian (cold) or their chicken salad. Their Italian dressing is one of my favorites. It is a thicker consistency golden Italian that really compliments the sub well. This place is a popular spot at lunchtime for people from the hospital across the street or workers passing through. And with the owner being the one making the subs most of the time by himself, have some patience. It is worth the wait, I promise you.

I won’t give you the names of them here, but if you seem like a cool person and ask the owner nicely, he MAY let you in on a few subs that are definitely worth trying.

For years I’ve ordered party subs from here. Vinnie is the man, he’s mastered the making of a truly delicious submarine sandwich. And I have not met a more personable business owner that treats their customers as though they’re the only customer in the place. I don’t know what very few other reviewers here are talking about when they have derogatory statements about the guy that works the cash register, however, he’s always treated me kindly and with respect. If you’re looking for an outstanding sub, look no further. Vince is the man! Mr. A’s is the place. Do yourself a huge favor, get over there and try one! But it will ruin you! You’ll never go anywhere else! I drive quite a ways to get my subs from here (19 and Hayes), passing probably 60 other sub places, but it’s worth every mile. Keep up the good work!

This past Tuesday my son and I tried Mr. A’s upon recommendations from Facebook. I have to say they are the friendliest establishment we have been to in a long time. Ordered two belly buster sub sandwiches. We haven’t had a really good Sub in a long time and these exceeded our expectations. So if you’re in the market for a great sub sandwich stop into Mr. A’s!
