The River Town Grill is a very good 5 star restaurant. This afternoon was our second time there.
Decent parking and great location just south from Williamstown WV. Clean, friendly people and an overall great place to enjoy a large variety of food.
My wife had the Vegetable Rice Bowl and I had the River Town Ribeye with Baked Potato. Plus a Sweet Tea and Lemonade for our drinks.
I had a few bites of hers and she had a few bites of mine. Holy Cow! Both meals were absolutely delicious. Plus, got a togo slice of the Mile High Cake. Mmmm, mmmm, good!
The chef(s) deserve a tremendous amount of credit for the perfect and incredibly delicious dishes that were prepared for us. Thank you very much for a great experience.

Made a trip just to try this place out!! Can’t believe we didn’t even know it existed!!! We can attest that it is worth the try and you won’t be disappointed!!! The location was easy to find, the place is absolutely gorgeous outside and inside! The staff was attentive and lovely! Restrooms were spotless and smelled nice to boot! The food though, the food!!! We started out with the southwest spring rolls as an appetizer and WOW!!!!! Perfect crunchy outside, filled with amazing flavor on the inside and the dip that’s served with it is amazing as well! I had the salmon rice bowl and it was also perfection!!! Everything was cooked perfectly and flavored perfectly as well!!! My husband had the Ribeye and finally was satisfied with a steak from a restaurant, it was cooked to perfection and had the best flavor, no steak sauce needed here folks!!! I also tried a bite and it was so delicious!! This is by far one of the most satisfying meals we have had out in a long time!! NAILED IT!!! We will be back!!

Went due to everyone raving about how good this place is. There was plenty of seating. Greeted upon entry and got a nice booth. Host and server were excellent.
-The Meal
The bread with butter was stale. Ordered the crab cakes as an appetizer. The crab was lump out of a can still seasoned well and perfectly cooked. The only thing missing was a slice of lemon to brighten up the flavor profile. Got the bourbon pork chop that had compound butter and steamed veggies. The chop was cooked well but could have been thicker for the price. The steamed veggies were mostly broccoli, two baby carrots, and two slices of yellow zuchinni. Next was the steak. Perfectly cooked medium rare ribeye. Wished it was seared off more. The French green beans needed a little more cook to them. Onion rings were perfect. Got carrot cake with caramel drizzle and that was really delicious . Ordered a margarita that was green for the coming Christmas holiday, Grinch style. If I would have known before ordering I would have asked for a traditional margarita. It was still yummy. All in all a great night and a good meal. Leftovers held up for the next day. I would like to go back to order burger and fries .

The food here was amazing. The staff were fast and very friendly. The Royal Salad was sneaky good…..I’ve never really enjoyed a salad until that one. I’m gonna need the recipe to the tomato poppyseed dressing because it was so flippin good. Bravo to whoever came up with it.

Things didn’t start out good. After being seated by the hostess, it was nearly ten minutes before getting the waitress and asked for drinks. May not be big to some, but IMO it is when involving customer service. When we arrived there was only two other tables occupied and there seemed to be plenty of staff. Our waitress seemed to be scatter-brained and not very aware of keeping drinks filled. The kitchen staff also brought out the food items witheach time the waitress arriving just after apologizing. This was my first time going there. The food was okay, nothing spectacular, and definitely not what I was expecting for the price. The bruschetta appetizer was very good. I was recommended the ribs and they were okay. They were very salty so I’m not sure if that’s the rub being used or if they are just a meat purchased from Sam’s Club. The loaded baked potato was quite good as well. For dessert I had the brownie with scoops of ice cream. The brownie itself was tasty but I’m particular when it comes to the ice cream. I don’t understand why restaurants want to use a cheap French vanilla ice cream in their dishes. I will probably try this restaurant again in the future as I’ve been told the steaks are great.

My wife & i stopped by here for first time to have supper since we were in the area.
Place is well set up and nice on inside, clean, the Hostess was very kind and took us to our table soon as we came in.
Once we were seated our Waitress’s “Courtney” came to our table to take our order, she was very nice as well and helpful and made sure we were not in need of any thing.
Our orders (Spring Rolls, Wings, Onion Rings, Mac&Cheese and Carrot Cake) arrived to our table correct timing and was cooked properly, all the food was very delicious.
The entire staff were very courteous and pleasant we defiantly will be returning to this location.

My husband and I have driven past the restaurant on multiple occasions saying “we should try it out”! I can’t believe we waited so long, the food was delicious! Our waiter, Nathen was fabulous! Anjinette stopped at the table to check on us…she was adorable and friendly. The atmosphere is inviting and very clean. We will definitely visit again.

Our family of 5 visited River Town for the first time last night for my sister’s birthday dinner and the experience was fantastic. The restaurant was pretty busy at 7pm, but while we waited for an available table, we spent some time at the slot machines. Wait time was 30 minutes and those games sure made our wait time fly by. Seated and greeted, our server Emily was very informative and friendly. Given all of the specials and drink options, my sister and i both got a Red Nose drink and my mom ordered the Grinch. Drinks were delicious. For appetizers, our picks were the bacon cheese fries and the spring rolls. Both were mouth watering. The bacon cheese fries were presented quite nicely and the cheese was so fresh and melty. With the crispy bacon on top, that plate didn’t last long, as we all loved it. Trying something new, the spring rolls didn’t disappoint. Very yummy. We all really enjoyed our main courses. Three of us got fillets, one got the cheeseburger, and the other got the shrimp & chicken pasta. One fillet was slightly overcooked, but our server Emily was right on it and had it redone with no problem. The manager, Natasha, personally served us the new one and made sure everything else was exactly how we needed. My food was so delicious and worth every bite. The onion rings here are perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The staff went above and beyond making our dinner a good experience and i have to mention that the restaurant was beautiful inside. Even the restrooms were well kept and comfortable to be in. For dessert we ordered 4 cheesecakes to go. I loved the atmosphere of this restaurant and can’t wait to come back. Thank you again, Emily and Natasha for taking such good care of our family.
