Layers Bakeshop is hands down my favorite bakery. The first time I ever had Layers was actually in Pakistan, so it already held a special place for me. Later on, a close friend introduced me to the U.S. locations and fun fact, she and her brother actually own the franchise. They’ve truly done an amazing job with every store so far.
I’ve been to about three Layers locations, and while the Elmont Layers Bakeshop location is the smallest one, it’s also the closest to me, which makes it my go-to. The quality, presentation, and consistency are always on point.
Honestly, I love almost everything from this bakery, but right now my absolute favorite is anything Lotus-flavored you really can’t go wrong with it. The desserts are rich, balanced, and never disappoint.
I also noticed they’ve started making candles, which is such a smart and creative addition to the brand. It just shows how much thought they put into expanding beyond desserts while keeping the same aesthetic and quality.
If you haven’t tried Layers yet, you’re seriously missing out. Highly recommend stopping by especially the Elmont location if you’re nearby.

Put the name wrong On the cake did not receive the candles that was displayed on the website false advertisement I called to get the order fixed. They hung up on me the cake taste frozen, and like it’s been in the refrigerator or freezer for days I will never order from them again One of the brownies look like they were a bit then they charge my card twice extra money I’m reporting this to The Better Business Bureau!

I ordered two red velvet cupcakes from layers. It was hand delivered to me via uber eats.
The cupcake had no flavor, not even a hint of cocoa. The cake was very dry and dense. It was not moist or sweet or chocolatey or rich in flavor which was what i was expecting.
The frosting had me confused. The texture was giving more moouse meringue and had no flavor of cream cheese.

We’ve been going to the Layers Bakery located at Elmont for quite some time. We usually get their cakes for every occasion because they’re so delicious and decadent every time.
We ordered three personalized cakes for our party we were hosting of 100 people. The cakes turned out absolutely beautiful. They were able to understand exactly what we wanted and delivered just that.
Not only were beautiful, but they were absolutely delicious, as usual. Everyone at the party loved the cakes, and a few wanted to take some home. There were plenty left over, so we were happy to share.

One of the best places for cakes and muffins. We were big fan of this place since a long time and glad to come to this new store. The cakes are full of buttercream and just the right amount of sweetness.
The ingredients are Halal, so quite a relief for the Muslims to eat the Mousse. Also, appreciate the blend of flavors available.
I didn’t like the slice of brownie as I found it very dry inside.

Worst experience of my life ordering a cake for my son’s 1st birthday.
I ordered an 8-inch cake to serve 15 people and was quoted $175. On the day of the event, I was given a 6-inch cake instead. I also ordered tres leches and Biscoff shooters, but received chocolate and tres leches shooters—not what I ordered.
After multiple attempts to contact the bakery to address these issues and request a partial refund, I finally received a response. Instead of acknowledging the mistakes, the bakery claims they gave me a “4-layer cake” (which was never discussed and does not excuse giving a smaller cake) and completely ignored the fact that I received the wrong cake size and incorrect shooters.
There was no accountability or effort to make things right. This experience left me very disappointed and stressed on what should have been a special day. I would not recommend this bakery based on my experience.

Ordered 2 custom cupcakes for a gender reveal that was taking place in less than a week and they were able to accommodate my last minute order. The cupcakes were so cute and also delicious (as all of their cupcakes usually are). I’ve tried their cakes as well, and am in love with their KitKat cake. Their sundaes are also delicious treats.

I was craving a late sweet treat. (There goes my diet) I ran across Layers from Uber Eats and googled the store to read the reviews which were great but I saw some bad reviews about the cakes being stale and not fresh. My cravings got the best of me and I ordered despite some bad reviews. Man oh man was I happy I did. The brownie was delicious and moist. I hate hard dry brownies this place did not disappoint. I also ordered red velvet cupcakes. I haven’t tried it yet but I’m sure it will be great! Thank you Layers!!
