Incredibly light fluffy and juicy cod filet fried fish tacos. All the fixings were good. Highly recommended gem in the neighborhood.

You walk through coastal seafood to enter, located in back and offering counter service. I ordered the fish and chips, service is friendly and helpful but minimal. The fish and fries were done perfectly and had great seasoning, I wasn’t expecting a wood skewer through them. Who ever purchased the silverware offered for dining should be forced to use them… I broke 2 forks in the crispy breading of the fish. Maybe bring your own silverware? Coleslaw was great, too. They don’t currently serve alcohol here.

Had the fish and chips. It was perfect, didnt bother with silverware. Oysters were fabulous. Bang bang shrimp, huge and delicious. Didn’t break a single fork.

I had been wanting to try Coastal Seafoods THE DIVE – fast casual seafood concept – for awhile.

Overall it was a pleasant experience. The grilled shrimp with chimmichurri was complicated. I liked the grilled shrimp portion but the chimichurri sauce lacked fresh herby flavor. It was pretty flat.

The beer battered cod with fries and house slaw was mixed. Both the tartar sauce and coleslaw were average – neither had great flavor. The fries and fish were hot but the coating on the fish needed a more prominent beer flavor. The fries were basically…fries.

It is a bit expensive but I expected higher prices for fresh seafood in Minnesota.

Would I return? It’s not a destination spot but if I was driving by and I was hungry I would definitely consider eating there

This is my new fav go to! Amazing food… best lobster roll I’ve ever had and can’t recommend the oysters enough. Lovely staff. A gem of a neighborhood restaurant / store.

I had the Lobster Roll (No sides) and Clam Chowder soup. It was no smack shack Lobster Roll, but it was decent. The soup was good but there was not a lot of clams, mostly potatoes. My lunch was almost 50 dollars for a sandwich and soup. Overall, the food was decent, but it was not a great value. I probably won’t be visiting much just because of the price.

Another reviewer wrote that the “tuna melt sandwich was the best I’ve ever had.” I had the same experience. Lots of places have tuna melt’s around here. The way they made it at the Dive, it reminded you of why you fell in love with tuna melts in the first place. Amazing. Thank you.

Start with some oysters. They are all delightful and do some mixing and matching. We then got the fish taco and the fish and chips. Both were excellent. Probably the best fish and chips I’ave had in a very long time. Crispy, (stayed crispy), perfect moist fish, properly seasoned. A delight! Watch out for the stick! But makes for a handy way to eat. Two large pieces were great to share, that way I got to try the fish taco as well. Not really the baja style I have as my childhood reference, but still ever so good. Fish was flavorful and tender. Nicely grilled. good seasoning. And the best part? After you eat go into the market and get things to take home, like more oysters.

Ordered the bang bang shrimp, the burger, and the fried fish sandwich. The shrimp and the burger are great. I would not get the fried fish sandwich again — I would have preferred a tangier sauce on the sandwich. I will come back to try more. The staff are very welcoming and happy to answer any questions you might have. It’s semi-separate from the market.
