Please be careful. I’ve eaten from this place many times without issue before but came down with the WORST case of food poisoning after eating from here Saturday evening. I ordered two birria tacos and one shrimp tostada. I am almost certain it was the shrimp tostada that was the culprit as I noticed it did not taste very fresh while I was eating it. I woke up violently sick Sunday morning and contacted the restaurant so they could be aware and not serve it to other customers.
The manager did not refund me but offered me a gift card for the next time I came to eat there, which to me is a completely inappropriate response because obviously the last thing anyone wants to do after getting so sick from eating at an establishment is to come back and eat there again. I should have just been refunded. But I was too sick to even bother with arguing it. … It is now Tuesday and i’m just recovering and starting to feel normal. Writing this review so no one else goes through this. I highly recommend to stay away from at least the shrimp or fish here.

Had the Al Pastor burrito and thought it was very very good for the price. Tender meat and pleasant sweetness from the pineapple. Lots of sauces and chips to accompany. Service was a little slow and people around me seemed to be a little frustrated with how long their food was taking but my experience was pretty solid.

Ordered a simple dish and was told 20-25 minutes for my delivery to arrive. 1 hour later I still haven’t received it. I call and they say it’s otw being delivered 1 hour and 30 minutes pass and nothing. I call again and they give me some lame excuse saying that the food dissappeared. It was most likely never made and they didn’t even try to bother making it. Worst store I have ever ordered from with the dumbest excluse of the food just dissappeared. Then all they can say is I can give a refund or make you wait for the order to be redone and sent out. Poor excuse for a store and poor service.

The food is good. I had the chicken torta, and the jalapeños in there gave it a good amount of spice.
The chicken nachos were very flavorful! The chicken empanada for $3.25 could’ve been a bigger size it was like a mini bite size.

Guys, it’s a quesadilla. The simplest, most beautiful combination of cheese and tortilla. How do you mess it up that badly? Is the chef Mexican? Please tell them to stop using SO MUCH OIL. I say that with love for traditional Mexican cuisine. This is just so awful.
Both of my quesadillas are sopping wet, and I ate it within 5 minutes of taking it home. There’s maybe a salads worth of peppers and veggies packed in there, so I can’t taste the cheese at all. Just revisit the basics.

Came in super hungry from a workout. Saw the place was kinda busy, but decided to stay because at least that would mean the food would be fresh. I was wrong.
I ordered the birria platillo, and everything on the plate was room-temperature. Plus I could tell the rice wasn’t fresh because it had a big clump in it. I choked down my lukewarm birria, which I couldn’t even finish because birria is really only good when hot/warm, and paid $18 for the disappointing meal.
I could have gotten Taco Bell for half the price and been way less disappointed, which is exactly what I will do next time because I won’t be coming here again.

An amazing place for Mexican classics!
Their birria items are incredible. Juicy, cheesy, meaty, crunchy. Each bite delivers a blast of flavor.
Torta was fantastic. Packed with amazingly fresh and tasty ingredients.

Updating: we ordered nachos. They gave us tortillas covered in cheese. It’s a tortilla pizza with 12 pieces. Not worth the money. What a waste. I want my $$ back. I just called to speak with a manager. They weren’t there. I asked the young lady who answered the phone when they would be there and she mumbled “I don’t know” with an attitude. This is at 9:10pm on 2/21/25. I said I wanted my money back; she hung up on me. Unreal.
I want to add that I edited this review down from 5 stars to 1 star. My first experience more than 2 years ago was good. I don’t know what happened but I don’t recommend them in 2025.

Generally this food is amazing, me and my friends happened to stumble upon this place cause we were hungry and were around Kew gardens. I’ve never eaten authentic Mexican food in my life and this happens to be the first time, so to eat from this restaurant gave me an amazing impression. I happened to get the steak and cheese torta and my friend got tacos which I also tried, both absolutely amazing I absolutely will be going here again!
