Spent $30 with tip for a meal combo and 1 more sandwich. Both sandwiches were wrong. One wasn’t even toasted, the chicken was cold. My daughter was very upset. My chicken bacon ranch was made wrong and bread was extremely dry… like it was more than 2 days old. Have never had this bad of an experience with them.

Didn’t even end up getting food the workers just stood behind the counter and looked at me as i waited to order. there were no other customers it was 3:30 in the afternoon. i stood there for about 5 minutes thinking they were busy but after them making eye contact with me multiple times and not acknowledging me i walked out. i’ve also found a piece of mouse poop in my sandwich before and they told me it was “a piece of meat” like i’ve never seen mouse poop before. terrible service.

I ordered my lunch at 10:45 long before the rush for lunch. They delivered half of my order I called the manager admitted it was their fault and they would send out the chips and the mail packet That was supposed to be with my order at first she argued that it wasn’t on the order until I read her the order from my order history. 30 minutes later and they still have not delivered the other half of my order. I called and spoke to the manager again he claims that he doesn’t have to do anything for me because I was being rude. Now that’s rude without the voice being raised no curse words being said just a request being made that my order charge be canceled. He hung up on me. Until today I was a very regular customer. Save yourself the frustration and go to subway.

Freaky fast? More like sadly slow. Having to wait over an hour for a pre-scheduled delivery is simply unacceptable. Apparently greed drives this Jimmy John’s over actually hiring people to deliver. No more organizational orders from us!
Edit: the food never came and we canceled our delivery. Management was non-apologetic.

TLDR: Best sandwiches in town.
MENU: Submarine (hoagie) sandwiches, a few cold salad sides, cookies, brownies.
FOOD QUALITY: Top notch for the price point.
MENU FAVORITES: I haven’t had a sandwich here I didn’t like. Try the roast beef and cheddar with horseradish sauce and fried onions. Potato salad is better than what you’ll get at Maxwell’s for example. Brownies are pretty good.
MENU FAILS: N/A.
FRONT OF HOUSE SERVICE: I usually get delivery.
KITCHEN SERVICE: Sandwiches are always well made, neat and orderly, plenty of toppings.
COMPETITION: There are three other places in town to get this kind of sandwich that are worth mentioning: Bellacino’s, Casey’s, and Pagliai’s. If you prefer quality over quantity, go to to JJ’s. If you prefer quantity over quality, go to Bellacino’s – they pile things high with cheap ingredients. Casey’s is a decent Subway style sandwich (I’ve only been to the one on Osteopathy) and they have some combos of their own – I’d say they’re a cousin to JJ’s but a little lower is quality, and worth choosing instead if it’s closer and you have to walk, or something. Pagliai’s is my vote for the worst restaurant in Kirksville – I’ve had the Reuben and a turkey-bacon club, and they were both low quality AND low quantity.

Straight threes! Not bad but not amazing. It’s a solid consistent jimmy johns. If you’re looking for a quick sandwich this the place to go. The workers were nice and the sandwiches came out fast.

Usually I love Jimmy John’s. Today while on my lunch break, I had to wait over 20 minutes for two sandwiches. Between the travel and wait time, I didn’t have time to eat and was so frustrated that I was no longer hungry.
Beware. Just because the slogan is “Freaky Fast” doesn’t mean service is.
