I went into this place after hitting up the Red Dwarf (also subpar,) just to check out the vibe. I could see there was karaoke and I wanted to pop in for a song before heading home on a Saturday. They did greet us immediately, and brought out chips w queso fresco, it was delicious that’s the only food I had there. I got a Tamarindo margarita it was okay. But my real issue is that they had a birthday party there singing karaoke, they were obviously chummy with the girl who helped host the karaoke events and the group that was there celebrating was singing ALL night, literally back to back to back, like 20+ songs in a row and I put in 1 song. When it was finally my turn to sing they picked a version of the song that didn’t have accurate lyrics, and that immediately tripped me up, (obviously) I asked to start the song over, they said no. Mind you I’m the only person there who had not sung and they wouldn’t do me the very normal karaoke courtesy of starting my song over and I asked immediately as soon as I realized the version they had chosen was not good. Very frustrating. I was very excited to find a place like this, I love a place where I can go to sing Spanish Karaoke but they had a very members only vibes which sucks especially cause aside from us and 3 other tables it was totally empty. Oh well.

If you’re looking for authentic and fresh latin food near Vegas Strip, this is the place to go! The food was very good, great portions and even better prices. Will definitely be returning to try the breakfast items.

So we stumbled upon this place when we were trying to eat somewhere else and it definitely is a hidden gem . The only reason I marked it four stars instead of five stars was because it was pretty empty when we arrived, and it took forever to get our food and the Salvadorian news was on about the voting that was taking place that day.
My husband and I weren’t quite sure what kind of Latin food this was but we figured we’d stop and give it a try. Initially we were surprised to learn that it wasn’t the typical “Mexican” food which is what we had assumed; however, when we read the menu and saw the pictures of the white rice we were confident that it was some other kind of Latin food (Salvadorian).
We did ask the waitress if she could recommend something similar to carne asada as both the hubby and I were in the mood for something tasty. She recommended a kabob looking dish that came with beans, white rice and a salad… The presentation of it reminded me of a bento box without the box.
Anyway you should find the picture of our dish in the photos, needless to say we devoured it within moments. It was delicious…completely off the charts! The meat was perfectly cooked, it completely fell apart in your mouth, it was wonderfully flavored and marinated with some familiar tastes, the vegetables on the kebab were perfectly roasted and equally melted in your mouth. The salad was pretty good I’m not sure what the dressing was but it was unique. I mixed my beans and rice and again it was a super familiar taste. I haven’t had that good tasting beans since I moved to Vegas a year ago.
Oh, before I forgot when you sit down at the table they give you a basket of chips that is covered in cheese and some kind of special homemade sauce, this homemade sauce looks kind of like ketchup and mayonnaise mixed up but that’s not what it is (similar color though)… To be honest I have no idea what it is when I ask the waitress all she said was that it was “homemade,” nonetheless I had to ask for more it was delicious and super addicting!

Bad service, expensive pupusas, and worst of all, water bottles sell them for 7 dollars are more expensive than sodas and even beers.

Their pollo con tajadas is amazing, I love to get it on special Mon – Thursday . The ladies who cash you out are always nice and warm. I suggest paying with cash to save you any service fee for using a card.
