The tacos here are excellent—authentic, flavorful, and generously portioned. It’s a nice neighborhood spot that’s easy to get to, and I’ll definitely keep coming back for the tacos. They only have one salsa and it’s spicy. But it’s very flavorful. I wish there was a mild salsa option.
That said, I got fries as my side instead of rice and beans with my taco dinner—a major letdown (pictured below). The portion was shockingly small for the price. The fries with the taco dinner that didn’t even fill the container. On a separate visit I ordered cheese fries and ended up asking for a refund because the portion was almost kid-sized. Charging $4 for that is hard to justify.
Service could also use improvement. The young man at the counter wasn’t very friendly or engaging, and on my first visit I waited at the counter for about 45 seconds while he sat on his phone, not paying attention or give attention to customers. It didn’t feel welcoming, and screams poor customer service.
Overall: great tacos (and generous portions with the tacos), disappointing portions when it comes to the fries, and poor customer service. Worth it for the tacos alone—just don’t expect large portions of fries or standout service.

The Lengua tacos are ok a little too chewy. Steak taco is also ok. The steak taco at super taco is way better but the beans and rice is better here. They also have horchata here which is good too. They lost a star because they ran out of cheese. They also sell tamales here, didn’t try it but it looks good.

I live down the street from Gas N Wash on Theodore where this location is and frequent often. There food has been going downhill lately and this was it for me. Look at the size of this steak burrito. Absolutely ridiculous!

Like someone said the fry portion is pathetic, the cheapest item on the menu and they throw it in a brown greasy paper bag not even a container.the bag is not filled for the price. Go to Mi Rancho for cheese fries. Overall instead of raising prices, they’ve trimmed the portion size, all the reason to encourage me to keep and save my money or go buy at the grocery store and do it myself with leftovers for another day or so

I would give them a zero! Thought I would give them a try because of the reviews but not sure why they have good reviews they prob make there reviews themselves!! 1st and last time coming here. They didn’t have what I ordered after accepting my order so this is what I got cold tacos ordered steak quesadilla got cold ground beef tacos! With barely any meet in the tacos!

I was hoping to find good tacos here but Unfortunately I won’t be back. I ordered corn shell tacos but was given flour(thats okay, I know mistakes happen). Whats msking me give 2 stars is that the meat taste old, as if I were eating leftovers. It also looked to have what I think was grease that had not fully been warmed(orange small chunks). Not sure what it was but maybe grease from the meat sitting and then not being thoroughly warmed. Which shouldn’t be the case bc you would exprct the meat to be put on the grill fresh, made to order. Sucks bc the tacos are almost $4 a peice and I had to throw them out bc i didnt enjoy them. I don’t recommend and wont be back.
