Yes, it is Amazingly good food! Wish we could have tried more. The tri-tip sandwich is superb. Tender, moist, and pleasantly smoked to perfection. The horseradish sauce was beautifully complementary.

Incredible food in an absolutely stunning setting. A hidden gem in the tiny town of Rico. The smoked turkey club is hands down the best club sandwich I have ever had.

Online hours said open at 5:30pm but luckily we swung by at 1:30pm and he was rocking. We’re on our way to Durango, and pulled off because of that delicious whiff of BBQ. We decked out a fully loaded grilled cheese and the pork sandwich. The bread’s fresh, meat stellar, and sauce surprising. Solid spot.

We loved our meal here!! The pulled pork sandwich was fantastic. Turkey club and mac and cheese grilled cheese were great as well. My brother went so far as to say the Carolina bbq sauce was the best he’s ever had. Will make it a point to come here again whenever in the area!

Scott’s tri tip is some of the best we’ve ever had. He is a rare breed who really takes pride in his craft. We loved chatting with him while we ate, and he showed genuine interest in making sure we enjoyed our meal. Couldn’t recommend stopping here enough! Even though the hours on google say 5:30pm opening, he’s usually rocking during the day and would be happy to make you lunch.

Worth the wait! This is amazingly well done BBQ done solo! And the coleslaw was excellent on top of our tri-tip sammies. We stopped here for our fall color drive lunch and left with full bellies and satisfied taste buds. We had the pulled pork sandwich, tri-tip sandwich, and rib special for our family’s lunch. Great food and beautiful view!

Trying to sample all Rico has to offer instead of driving through and I’m left always looking forward to coming back. The BBQ has left the same impression! After a hike in the aspens with a little rain shower, we shared the tri-tip sandwich (exquisite- smoky, seasoned and I agree with the others- the horseradish sauce really compliments ) and the Mac n cheese (warming and with a slight spicy kick, yum!). Looking forward to the rest of the menu (so curious about the Wigglin Pig!) We’ll be back

Stopped for lunch after ripping some sweet mtb trails around Rico. Had a pulled pork sandwich. Amazing food! Smoky, moist, tender. Homemade mustard sauce, and a delicious slaw. This guy knows his stuff and takes pride in making great bbq!

This place is our new favorite!!! We’ve never stopped in Rico before, but something told us we should try it out and I am so glad we did. This place is INCREDIBLE! We got the pulled pork grilled cheese and the tri tip steak sandwich. Both were wildly delicious! We can’t wait to go back and try it all!!!
