Fun fact I’m a vegetarian in a ‘meat bistro’ but my wife loves a great steak and she was not disappointed! My choices were amazing, surprisingly. Food choices overall were fantastic as was the quality. Wine choice match the food selection. The service . Summary:- Highly recommended. Angela (owner) spent time to chat and discuss her bourbon selection (my love). We will return.

Once again, we had a superb meal at The Blue Rose Bistro. Though I have eaten many of the offerings on the menu, always with great satisfaction, last night I opted once again for my favourite dish, Angela’s Favourite. Superbly prepared and presented, high quality steak. My wife ordered her favourite blue cheese, spinach filet while the other five people in our party chose different offerings. The evening once again ended with unanimous complements to the chef, the wait staff and The Blue Rose Bistro. We’ll be back.

We had a group Valentines dinner and we had the absolute best time. I had the Tuscan salmon and it was delicious. The sauce is incredible. Husband had the mushroom onion filet. Omg! Divine. The atmosphere is upbeat, happy employees, comfortable seating (which can be hard to find) and fun! Excellent, attentive service. Always grateful for that. Loved the roses they handed out to all of us ladies. Sorry, no pics.

A meal at Blue Rose is one of the best experiences, Lakeside. We enjoyed the famous Cobb salad and mushroom chicken meal. As you can see, the serving sizes are very generous. Everything from the pleasant welcome when we arrived to the impeccable and competent service created a wonderful evening.

Perfect right from the beginning; we were greeted warmly, seated promptly, drinks arrived exactly as ordered and they were beautifully presented…Pink Lady and a Cucumber Margarita. The serving staff were lovely and the food was good. The Beef Filet Grilled Cheese Sandwich was very tasty if a bit messy. If the quality of the thinly sliced filet is any indication of their steak items, I’m in! Fries were small, crispy and well-seasoned. The Shrimp in Lettuce Cups was very tasty but also messy…odd lettuce leaves for such a dish as they didn’t ‘fold’ well; it worked better chopped and enjoyed as a salad. Both above orders, two Pink Ladies and a Coffee Americana cost 670 pesos + tip.

Last night we went to the Blue Rose Bistro. We were greeted by a very attentive staff. I started with the Beet and Mezcal Margarita and also had the Cucumber Margarita. We had the Walnut shrimp which were delicious..and who doesn’t like deviled Eggs..Theirs were artistic and Delicious. I had the Cucumber soup which is served cold and very frothy so it’s very light and refreshing. Its served with a garnish of Avocado and Cucumber with a EVOO Drizzle. I will start by saying..I do not like filet as a steak..But theirs was delicious. I Got the Bleu Cheese with Shrimp. The Bleu Cheese made it richer and more flavourful. The shrimp were Delicious almost crisp..and seasond so perfect.. it was a perfect dinner. The Owner came over to introduce herself which is always nice.

Service by a very sweet and attentive young lady is what brought this to a four star.
For the price the meals were only ok. The space is on the cold looking side for our taste. The front facade doors are very attractive, and helped. The Spanish coffees we ordered were the worst I had ever had. They were ice cold, even though they arrived almost immediately after ordering. I am not exaggerating about the cold.
