This place is AMAZING. Great food, friendly staff, and at a modest price! We drove an hour to try their food because we had heard good things, but it far exceeded our expectations. I’m not gonna lie. I looked forward to this place thinking I was gonna get a juicy delicious fresh burger because Burger is literally in the name of the restaurant. It’s very disappointing they are serving frozen premade burger patties. They were like the pre-charred kind, I saw the guy put them on the grill, and it’s also obvious from how they look once they’re cooked and how they taste.The milkshake was pretty good. The mozzarella sticks were good. The onion rings also were subpar. Just my honest review. If you’re specializing as a burger place, you should at least serve fresh hamburgers.

Bleep, that was delicious. I had the crispy chicken pita with garlic paste instead of mayo. It was the best chicken pita I’ve ever had. My husband had the bacon burger and he said it is his new favorite burger in town. My kids had the French toast and they actually ate it, best review a toddler can give is to actually eat something. Definitely going back.

Speedys has come to be one of my favorite places in town. Everyone I know says the same. I get the chicken shawarma wrap at least once a week, and the chili cheese fries are perfect. Some of my friends highly recommend the club and the Philly cheese steak. Very kind, cool, patient, and professional folks working there. I never give 5 stars, but this business deserves them. The restaurant is clean and well put together. It has a light and bright atmosphere. We were greeted upon arrival and not rushed since it was our first time seeing the menu. The staff were polite, professional and inviting. The menu is impressive. Don’t let the name fool you. There are a number of burgers to choose from yes, but you can also get quesadillas, hot dogs, shawarmas, hot subs and even breakfast to name a few. The presentation of the food was top notch and the taste was equally as impressive. This place is a gem in the Ypsilanti/Ann Arbor area.

I love supporting the small local shops… but this one will not see me again. There’s absolutely no excuse for a burger spot to sell premade, frozen patty burgers. I mean… even the char marks are there… but there’s no grill in the kitchen. They look and taste just like frozen section burgers, served out of the school cafeteria. This is very disappointing, especially since I only eat one or two burgers a year. Sorry, but I see why the name is Speedy’s. The burgers are premade.
