Somewhere between this beautiful town, the cold fall weather and their lively Christmas spirit we stumbled upon Connie’s Ice Cream shop. I was looking for a warm hot chocolate but there, standing by the door, was this young man who lured us in. I couldn’t resist the waffle cones ☺️ so we skipped the hot cocoa and loved our salty butter cream ice cream

If you’re in Dahlonega, make sure to stop by Connie’s Ice Cream. For starters, it is the cutest 50s inspired diner. The food was also amazing. I got a buffalo chicken panini and an oatmeal cream pie ice cream in a waffle cone and I 1000% recommend. The owners were so nice and the girls behind the counter were the sweetest. The prices were great for the serving size and they also offer student, UNG staff, first responder, and military discounts!

The inside gave off a retro and small-town vibe. I noticed that Blue Bell ice cream is served, which is nothing special but it was still good. On the bright side, there were plenty of flavors to choose from. I got the Georgia peach and cake batter flavors.

The ice cream was fresh, clearly homemade, and absolutely hit the spot. The servers were friendly, welcoming, and attentive without hovering. Prices were very reasonable. These days I expect to pay around $7 for a single ice cream, so getting three for $17 was a great surprise. The shop was clean, comfortable, and the staff even checked in on us after we finished. Great quality, great service, and great value. We will definitely be back.

Went here with my parents during the Christmas holiday. Even though they had a limited menu at the time, what they had to offer turned out to be great. I ordered a peach flavored ice cream cone and along with my parents some burgers. Everything was delicious and the atmosphere was awesome.

Had a wonderful lunch at Connie’s Ice Cream Parlor with my hubby! Nothing fancy but two warm sandwiches; BLT with pimento cheese and a buffalo chicken panini! Very good!!
Well recommended!!
This is a very friendly well oiled crew working today….Keeping the line down with a smile!
Way to go crew… great job!
Trip #2 to Connie’s Ice Cream Parlor: This time we made the trip back strictly for the ice cream and coffee… and let me just say, this place will NOT let you down when it comes to either one! The ice cream is fantastic, and their coffee drinks are just as impressive. I especially love that they offer multiple milk alternatives for their lattes — that’s a big win for me — and honestly, they’re some of the best I’ve had.
Next time, I’m planning to try the coffee shop next to Connie’s and will report back with an update. But for now… another two thumbs up from me!

Connie’s Ice Cream is such a great place. I tried their club sandwich and it was amazing fresh bread, lots of flavor, and very filling. The coffee was also really good and went perfectly with the sandwich. The food tasted fresh and was made really well. I would definitely recommend Connie’s Ice Cream to anyone looking for good food and a nice place to relax.

Stopped by after dinner. The staff was great. There is a huge selection of flavors. I had chocolate and my wife chocolate peanut butter. We both enjoyed. They were open late on a holiday weekend.

It was good, but nothing out of the box amazing. We got ice cream. I did really enjoy the chocolate ice cream with peanut butter bites. My dad got Praline and loved it. Prices were a bit high for what you get, but we kind of expected that.

Great place!
Honestly we just stop by because was the only place open late in Dahlonega that weekend.
This tourist town need to keep their restaurants and shops open until late.
Was very cold outside and we was trying to warm up.
Ended trying the Caramel apples, a few different pounds of fudge and chocolate covered pecans, walnuts, almonds and pretzels!
Did I mention the wonderfully creamy ice cream!?
Yummy!
Very good, I recommend anyone who is visiting!
