About my food…the steaks were cooked to order the way we requested, Brussel sprouts were delicious, broccoli was not bland but not seasoned, I enjoyed the porter house steak my fiancé got but I ordered the ribeye so I ate most of his. Mine was good, but his was cooked medium,so it was juicer. Mine was pretty good though, I got mine medium well and the next day both steaks heated up well and was still tender. Thats important so I was pleased with that but there was not a lot flavor to it. My daughter order the cheese fries and they were good as well, it was enough for 3-4 people as an appetizer. My sweet potato had the right amount of sugar and butter not too sweet but sweet enough. The bread didnt come out until after we ordered food, and I noticed other tables had their bread before ordering so I did ask the server if we needed to order before getting the complimentary bread and she said no she just happened to take our order first.
Drinks…
the old fashioned was well made but that glass is one of the smallest glasses I have ever had and old fashioned in. The cube of ice made it look full but it was not much in the cup. I believe the cup should be a little bigger and it is the cup that is thick at the bottom so it gives off the impression that it is deeper than it is, it was a little disappointing because I am an old fashioned drinker, its my go to. It should be made with rye but for some reason most places makes it with bourbon anyway I will upload a picture of it with the ice and without it. Their version of a long island is not good at all, it was sour, not good
About my service
We went to this particular long horn on a busy day of the month. I put us on the wait list around 4:30p and it said it was a 70 mins wait. That was fine. I went into the restaurant around 5:40ish because it wouldnt allow me to check in. I came and was greeted, showed the front desk staff my phone to let them know I was unable to check in. I was told we are only taking in person wait list not online, and we had to shut the system down. I said huh…ok and left. I got in the car pulled off and got a text that said your table is ready. I called because I was confused but no one never asked me if I had already put my name on the list or my name at all just to make sure. Anyway, when I called they said I could come back. I was a bit annoyed because to me it would’ve been good customer service to just say what is your name and are you already on the wait list. I work with people as well so maybe that is just the way I would’ve handled it. We turned around and drove back to the restaurant and we were seated immediately. The server we had was attentive and timely with our orders. She did not miss anything. Overall experience that day was 3 stars stars. I would go back it was a busy holiday…

Our first time here. The food is really delicious and big portions. Our water Gerard is super great! Thsnk you to the lady who greeted the two of us and sat us at our table. (Forgot her name but she was very polite!) I had the shrimp over rice with hot macaroni and cheese with a delicious crusty topping. The strawberry shortcake for dessert is also very good! We definitely will be back. The location says Bel Air, but its actually just north of the Riverside/Belcamp exit off of I-95 on rt543.

Ordered the filet rare and it came out VERY blue rare- and I love rare steak.. asked our server to fix it and the kitchen just put be same cut up steak back on the grill, so it was overcooked on the outside and still blue in the center.

I’m really confused why they wouldn’t use a new steak, maybe they’re trying to save money? The manager said this is normal for them…

Server was polite and they did comp the meal since I didn’t eat any of it.

New Longhorn in Riverside, Md. Finally a place with a great baked potatoe.
Steak and salad was good to. Staff welcoming and good at what they did. From hostess to bartenders, all friendly. Place was very busy and everyone was on task.

Solid 4.5 out of 5 star restaurant. Comparatively speaking to other steak houses, the complimentary bred and butter weren’t anything to get excited about. Stuffed mushroom appetizer was good, but could do with 1/2 the cheese it’s smothered in. Sirloin steak was great, cooked medium to perfection (cooks forgot the mushrooms I added but server made it right quickly.) Brussels sprouts were excellent, full of flavor! Half rack of ribs were tasty, and loaded baked potato was good as expected.

Decided to try new Longhorn Steakhouse for early dinner before 6 pm movie on Saturday. Arrived at 410 pm. Was told wait would be 10-15 minutes. Asked if we could eat at the high tops in the bars and hostess said they had no server for that area. There were 5 open tables in the general area. With limited seating in waiting area we stood up for 30 minutes. Server came to the table immediately. Took drink orders. Returned with drinks and we both ordered 6 oz sirloin medium rare. I opened my napkin and utensils to find dried food on the steak knife. Had to flag down server and requested clean knife. He returned quickly. When meals arrived, one was thick and the other thin, but both were more rare than medium rare. It was close enough that we ate the meals. Food was very good. It then took another 10 minutes before we saw our server again to ask for our check. Unfortunately we think that Outback food, service and atmosphere are much better.

I went to check out this new location with my family. The food and environment(ambience of the interior) were spectacular, clean but the service was terrible. From the moment we got there, the hostess made our visit regrettable in a lot of ways. First issue getting us a seat and then assigning a server. I wasn’t sure what was going on but it was so annoying. I don’t plan another visit anytime soon.

We waited a little while before coming here since it’s so new. There was a 35 to 40 min wait, however the bar area was open seating. We sat at a high top table, we were immediately asked about drinks. Food was delicious We had Flo’s steak and Lobster with a salad that was delightful. I also had a sweet potato with butter and cinnamon sugar. Hu by had the Pork chops he had 3 center cut pork chops with a baked potato and he also had a salad. The steak was very tender and had great flavor.

Just had dinner at the new Longhorn at James Run. It was a great experience from the second I walked in the door. My server, Alyssa, was super friendly and attentive. The food was prepared to perfection as requested. I ordered the Strawberry Pecan with White Balsamic Vinegar, as my salad option and a Ribeye with a loaded baked potato. (Plenty of leftovers.)
The Manager, Kevin, stopped by my table to see how things were and chatted. There was a Trainer overseeing the servers just to make sure everything was going well. I highly recommend a visit. It’s the best dining experience I have had at a Longhorn. If you stop by, make sure you ask for Alyssa!!

Food was great , though I do not recommend their Mac n cheese. The drink I had was amazing, a little pricey but it was decently sized so worth it. The server was definitely not a people person, and she seemed annoyed with my table from the start.(not that we were difficult but it’s a new restaurant so like many others it was our first time there so we needed extra time to figure out what we wanted) Overall I did enjoy the food, just wish the staff was more upbeat and friendly
