Salads were terrible. More like a side salad. Said spring mix but was a handful of iceberg. Wraps are tiny. Left hungry and went to Subway.

This is a great place to enjoy a quiet breakfast. The food was delicious, and the service is top notch. Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive. Have never had a bad experience here. It’s locally owned and is in a convenient spot with plenty of parking. While there head to doors of hope thrift store and support the local food pantry.

My favorite thing here was the cute doilie to set my coffee cup on. The coffee was not good , very flat tasting , I even asked if it was fresh n was told yes, so probably low end brand ,yuk. The waitress was kind and efficient but the food was just ok , nothing special, nothing Id come back for – frozen hash browns, commercial yellow yoked eggs, generic sausage gravy , bad coffee.
The interior was clean and the seating was comfortable.

Went to the Hometown Diner for the first time today. French toast was fantastic (I got regular, have to try the cinnamon swirl!). The owner was very friendly and responsive, and his presence is clearly key to the great atmosphere this place has. I’m only sorry that I didn’t come sooner!

This is the best place for breakfast or lunch in the Capital Region, hands down. It’s a little out of my way, but the food is worth the drive. The owners are heavily involved with the food and service, giving this diner a welcoming atmosphere with amazing food to match. You can really tell they cook for you as if you’re family, which is a rare thing to see nowadays. I’ll be returning every week for as long as they’re open!

Wow, these guys hit the ball right outta the park. I asked for an off menu request and they exceeded my expectations. A Grilled BLT with Cheese could have gone sideways, but no. Keep up the good work guys!

Stopped in for a late lunch on a whim. I was pleasantly surprised to find a nicely decorated, clean, friendly place with a menu with lots of choices. I had a patty melt with fries and it was SO good. The fries were delicious and crispy and the patty melt was not soaked in grease. I recommend Hometown Diner.

Good place to take the family for a delicious breakfast or lunch, fast service small home feel dinner with booths tables, and a bar. I go with the family a decent amount but my favorite it to go in winter after a good hunt with my dad and get some breakfast.
