Great very clean restaurant and bar. We were seated right away, it seemed like they had plenty of staff, folks were friendly, but the service was just ok. Bread was hot and butter the perfect temp for melting. Salads were simple and dressing were good. Things kind of fall down when it came to the entrees. Prime rib was a nice cut, but it came out barely luke warm, ordered MR, and it was cooked MR but it must have sat on the counter for a bit before being served, they took the steak back and heated it up, but in the process made it MW, which I won’t eat especially at $30 price point. The aujus had flavor and was plenty. The Ribeye is a thin cut, so M came out W and cold. Neither steak was salted. The meatballs were bland, but big. Carrots also were just plain. The surf was cocunt shrimp and were delicious and hot. We came after the main dinner rush. The bar has live music and was busy. Place was very clean.

My wife and I went to Lewis’ for the first time last night because we heard they had live music. We arrived on time for our 6:15 reservation but the place was really crowded and busy, so much so that we had to park out on the street.

It didn’t take us long to be seated but the hostess/owner said it would be a while before she had a server to come over. We were okay with that and we also moved to a smaller table so they could accommodate a group of three. That group was so appreciative that we discovered when our bill came that they had paid for our wine.

We could hear the music in the bar area (a man and woman singing and the man playing a guitar) which we really enjoyed because it was all oldies mostly from the 1960s and 1970s and because they sounded really good. So after our dinner we relocated to the bar where we could hear them better. The atmosphere in the bar was terrific with people singing along and swaying to the music. A lot of the folks seemed to know the musicians. Most of the folks seemed to be regulars but they made us feel very welcome.

All and all, it was a great evening. The staff were wonderful, the food was good, and the vibe was terrific. We’ll be back.

We had a nice experience here. The food was good – portions were huge. Very kid friendly and the hostess and waitress were very attentive. Our waitress even ran out to the parking lot to stop us when we forgot our boxed up food! So service really went above and beyond.

10 take out special every Wednesday and Thursday is incredible! Stuffed pork chops, chicken riggies, meatloaf, and more. Comes with salad and half a loaf of bread! Best deal in town you couldn’t make it for less.

The food was great and our server was excellent. I order chicken wings well done and they actually did it. They were cooked perfectly. The draw back was the noise. The dining room seems to absorb the noise for the whole restaurant. Definitely will be going again. Glad to see it back to the Lewis Family!

The food we had was just..meh. I usually can tell from the dinner salad they serve..which was crappy. Flat chopped iceberg lettuce…a hunk of tomato from the inside..ewe..and cukes so thin you could practically see thru them..CHEAP!
OH..and one ring of onion! Dressing was good though. We won’t go back

Good food, but be prepared to wait!! It was our first visit to Lewis’ Restaurant and we were excited to see if it was as good as the reviews. I made a reservation, arrived a few minutes prior and waited 22 minutes to be seated. Another table (no reservations) was seated before us. The restaurant was very busy and quite loud. I’m normally very forgiving of slower service when the restaurant is packed (and it was!), but I felt like we were dismissed other than the delivery of the food. My drink order included lemon, which I didn’t get. We asked another employee to help with that and she did. I tried to order a refill, but the soda fountain wasn’t working properly, so I had to wait 20-30 minutes for that, again, no lemon. Food: The salads were ok, but the greens were mostly iceberg lettuce which was a little disappointing. The toppings include some thinly sliced onion, cucumber slices and cherry tomatoes. The dressing was good. The bread is served warm, but it’s kind of squishy, so the pretty but cold balls of butter are so hard that your bread is completely squished by the time you get it buttered. We ordered Utica greens and they were quite good. We would order them again even though the price was a little higher than I expected. My companion ordered a special: creamy risotto with shrimp. It was delicious! I ordered the stuffed shells with meatballs. The meatballs were wonderful and the shells were really good, but not as filled as I would have liked. The sauce is better than most restaurants. We had to ask the hostess for to go containers and the check. I personally don’t like it when restaurants take the food away to box it up, so I wasn’t thrilled when she removed our plates to box it up in back. (I did ask for the boxes and said I would do it myself.) It took way too long to get them back and get the check. We spent almost 2 hours exactly from the time we walked in the door to the time we left. I would also like to mention that you should dress in layers. It’s quite chilly in this restaurant.

Almost walked out,sat at table for almost 30 min before we finally got drunk service. Waitress did a good job trying to ammend the lack of service. Waited for food, when it got there, I couldn’t chew the chicken, the steak was cooked perfect but no flavor, and the fish had a sweet taste almost reminded me of a corn muffin.

Ordered wings on Thursday “Wing night”. Wings were regular price. Seasoned breading with greasy sauce & little hot sauce. Lost my business.

On our way through this quaint town we stopped by on a whim. So glad we did. We were there on a Wednesday evening, bar area was busy. No wait time at all. Our service was excellent. Savanna (I believe) was our waitress and was incredibly nice and attentive. Our food was excellent (chicken and shrimp scampi), beer was cold, nice selection of drafts and domestics. Prices were incredibly reasonable. We would definitely stop again if in the area. Highly recommended.
