Cold baklava is to die for. The pistachio taste and its combination with cold milky syrup was outstanding. Sugarbellies (Şekerpare) was a disappointment, did not feel like homemade, it was doughy. The burma baklava was okay but did not get the nut taste quite a lot. The tea was fresh and amazing. Unfortunately, baked goods, simit and pogaca was stale, not fresh.

I’ve ordered the Kunefe from this place so many times, and it’s always been amazing! I’ve also tried it at the restaurant, and it’s just as good there too. Definitely a must-try.

They also serve a variety of other dishes and desserts that are authentic to Turkey, so it’s worth exploring the menu. Highly recommend giving this place a try!

The Turkish food was excellent! We stayed at a nearby hotel and had the food for multiple nights because it wasn’t enough. The bread was crispy on the outside, and warm and fluffy on the inside. Together with the lentil soup as well as the hummus, it was splendid! We also had chicken shish kebab and the avocado salad in this visit, it was a really enjoyable dinner. Come visit if you can!

A clean, unpretentious, simple place with excellent food, good size portions, reasonable prices, and good service.
Order included an Adana kebab, spinach pie, fresh bread, and sautéed eggplant. Also happy to see that they sold cold cans of sour cherry, a delicious non-alcoholic Turkish drink.

Good point for this Turkish spot is they are open until late hours and have easy parking.

We chose the most well-known Turkish dish “Doner kebab (beef)” and it was nothing close to a tasty one. Meat was burnt and hard to chew without any flavor. We didn’t touch the rice as we didn’t like whatever spice it had. On the side we had baba ganush and honestly I tasted no garlic on it!! mouth felt with lots of tahini but not other key flavors. They have very nice turkish bread though.

Adding to all of it is their prices matches the best turkish restaurant in not far neighbourhoods , like $9 for a very small baba ganoush plate.

I got the Chicken Kabob which was really good with the warm bread. They also serve Mexican foods. Food was pretty good, the prices are a bit high but, food is good. The Mexican food is also pretty good. The staff are really nice. Definitely my lunch spot. UPDATED ON 7/27/22, PRICES HAVE JUMPED SIGNIFICANTLY…losing one star and now at 3 stars. UPDATED 5/22/23 PRICES HAVE JUMPED ONCE AGAIN! A single taco is $5.50. Definitely not worth it! Losing another star. Burritos are absolutely TERRIBLE

Simple yet well-executed Middle-eastern street food. I came upon this place as this is very closely located to my workplace, and I got to try their spinach pie and Adana Kebab. Both were fantastic and although they were a bit heavily seasoned (salty), I enjoyed them nonetheless. I especially enjoyed the roasted veggies (tomato and pepper), and they went perfectly well with the kebab. The only miss from this place was the price point of their menu. Despite their unassuming interior and food presentation, food here is quite expensive for what you get.

The restaurant is halal, and menu was impressive 🙂 we have been missing pide for a while so we ordered the kusbasi pide & adana durum, with side of french fries (which was huge btw) and as 2 ppl+a toddler we couldn’t finish everything. Portion sizes are big. Also thank you for the complimentary soup for my daughter and teas!! Truly felt like i was back in Turkiye.

My friends and I went to Ali Baba late night as a last resort food spot and experienced a kindness that I could not possibly explain in words. The food was delicious, the service despite having come in so late was spectacular, and the atmosphere was so so warm and so so kind. We absolutely destroyed our food and would do so 100 times over. Thank you so so much Alibaba— you will see us again for the wonderful night you gave us !
