Macaroni and cheese was a delicious side, totally Worth it.
The Grilled cheese was marvelous.
The nacho platter was massive and loaded, fully loaded with a variety of meats and cheeses.
Next time I go, I’ll take my 15ye old boy to play on the world biggest PAC MAN…yep they have bowling, darts, ping pong, connect 4 floor Tetris and more…
As a side note, I went in Public Bar & Rec right next door (they’re connected) and had a Goose Island while waiting. Great experience and can’t wait to come back and try more sandwiches.
Chips were over seasoned. The marinara dipping sauce they gave me was under portioned, I was only able to dip the first few bites before it ran out.
The food probably would have been really good if they had brought it to me immediately instead of letting it sit for so long.
The flavor is right! Just bad execution
My wife and I were eager try try out some grilled cheese sandwiches after seeing pictures on social media. We stopped in and nobody came out to take our order. We stood there for a few minutes. We saw someone in the back and said “hello!” a couple times. No response. I then went and opened the door again to see if there was a door chime and there was. Still, nobody came out. This was around 12:45 (lunchtime) on Monday. After a few more minutes of waiting (10 in all), we left disappointed. On the way out, we noticed looking into the other side (bar) someone else was there on the phone. Two employees (maybe owners/managers?) who seemed busy doing something, but ignoring customers. I predict the business will fail if some changes don’t occur. I don’t want this to happen, so I am posting and hoping someone will address this.
We plan on giving this place a couple weeks and trying again. The food may be good, I don’t know, but people go “out” to eat for service and convenience. Restaurants have to be all about the customer if we are being expected to pay 3-4 times the cost of food. Having good food is not usually enough. Maybe other jobs around the place internally need to be done during slow times (not during peak lunch or dinner time) but still with an eye on the customer walking in?
Apparently, I’m not the only one who had this experience. 2 bad reviews so far. A rough start, but I hope it gets turned around. I like the concept.
