⭐☆☆☆☆ Cheesecake flan quality issue and no resolution offered
A cheesecake flan was purchased at this location for a Christmas gathering. The receipt is available and shows the date and time of purchase.
After dinner, the dessert was tasted and two people noticed an off/bad taste. The portion that was cut was discarded. To confirm whether this was an isolated issue, another cheesecake flan was bought from a different bakery, and that dessert had no problems with taste or quality.
The product was taken back to Vicky Bakery at 8290 Bird Rd, Miami, FL 33155 to explain the situation. The staff member stated that a refund could not be issued and insisted the product was not defective, without tasting it.
I later spoke with the person who identified himself as the owner (last name Sánchez). No refund or alternative solution was offered.
We contacted the police to ask if mediation was possible, but they explained that since a portion of the dessert was missing, they could not intervene. As a result, the dessert was discarded and the $22 paid for it was lost.
It is also important to note that the buyer is a regular customer at this location and purchased additional items during the same visit, as shown on the receipt.

I recently visited Vicky Bakery on Bird Road, right across the street from LA Fitness, and I was thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere is exceptionally clean and inviting, with tasteful and updated decor that makes it a pleasure to spend time there. The staff is friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience.
As for the food, the pastries and dishes are simply excellent. Everything tastes incredibly fresh, and there’s a wide variety to choose from, ensuring that there’s something for everyone. I followed the instructions, clicked the link when I arrived — and nothing happened. After waiting a few minutes, I went inside. The store was empty, but when I asked why my order wasn’t brought out, the young woman with brown hair snapped, “We don’t do that.”
Not once did she apologize or acknowledge that their website misleads customers. Instead, she argued with me, as if it was my fault for following their directions. A simple “sorry, our website is wrong” would have been enough.
To top it off, the food was dry, bland, and overpriced. Miami has plenty of bakeries that treat customers well and serve food worth eating. Vickie’s isn’t one of them.

This morning I woke up craving a home-style breakfast and wasn’t sure where to go since Bird Road has so many options. I finally decided to stop at Vicky Bakery—I see it every day on my way to the gym—and let me tell you, it was exactly what I wanted!
The breakfast was on point, the service was excellent, and the place itself is spotless—from the dining area all the way to the restroom. I really appreciated how clean and welcoming everything felt. (If I had to suggest one tiny thing, I’d love to see a mirror in the bathroom, lol.)
Overall, it was an amazing experience. Thank you, Vicky Bakery, for starting my day off right—I’ll definitely be back!
