I would recommend this place if you’re looking for a great restaurant for a date or birthday.

I booked this restaurant for my brother’s birthday.
The atmosphere and the staff were great.

We started off with the Broccolini and it was very delicious.
All the other dishes were also good!

They prepared a birthday plate with ice cream for my brother.
My brother was very happy.
Thank you very much

Pizza is great. Noodles are okay for me. Maybe I like the classic spaghetti more than anything. The appetizer is fresh to me and the drinks is good as welll. Parking might be hard to find. Lastly two of us spend 200$ total on this meal we order a lot.

There is something about the vibe here that reminds me of New York. The little outdoor space dedicated to outdoor seating and being engulfed in a canopy of trees in a very tight neighborhood sits this trendy Italian restaurant.

This restaurant also has an attached bar with pizzas, but alas we did not try that.

We sat in the main restaurant right across the kitchen which is exposed for everyone to see. Who doesn’t get excited hearing someone yell “fire…”?

We ordered the bread which looked like a cinnamon roll, but was savory, pillowy, and kissed by an olive oily flavor. Paired with there balsamic olive oil butter it just melts in your mouth .

The pasta was cooked perfectly. It was bouncy and the coating and cheese were all perfect.

The bad. This is echo park. Parking sucks. I was able to find parking in the adjacent neighborhood, and my friend also found parking in the neighborhood, but it did take time for him to find a spot.

This place rocks. Make a reservation.

the go-to for really good italian food in echo park. donna’s is great, of course, but bacetti has very solid food, a beautiful space, and kind servers. bacetti is always reliable and delicious, with excellent, fresh pastas, and the focaccia is a can’t miss. has the feel of a neighborhood joint without pretension or impossible to get reservations. a wonderful spot.

I celebrated my 80th Birthday at Bacetti and all of my guests loved every aspect of the evening. Food delicious and staff delightful. Key selling point was the pacing of the evening. Absolutely no rushing. Instead a very pleasant tempo from course to course. Their attention to detail from planning to execution was terrific.

Tucked away in LA’s Echo Park neighborhood is an excellent Italian restaurant with some interesting takes on classics.

For starters we enjoyed Gnoochi ala Romana made with pillowy polenta, not potato, that simply melts in your mouth. Surprising but delicious. Then we had the fresh Sardine ala Griglia perfectly grilled served with salsa verde and toast points, perfect. As a pasta carbonara fan, I ordered this, though good I prefer it with the usual long noodle spaghetti instead of the short rigatoni. I missed twirling it in the sauce. The breaded lamb chops were outstanding and won as the favorite dish. We finished with a dessert favorite, Budino, an Italian pudding which was a nice end to the meal. But this one showed off a bit, with chocolate cake at the bottom and crushed hazelnuts on top. Very good.

If you’re in Los Angeles and travel to the east side, do stop in. They can’t stay a local secret forever.

Gorgeous interior space! Their appetizers are super delish and were the standout items. Definitely get the Foccacia!! Their signature dish and stood out. The Burrata is one of my favorite compared to other Burrata dishes I have had at other restaurants. Also, the Tongue was pleasing and hearty. For our mains, the Lamb Shank and Pork Chops were highlights. The Shank was huge and very well seasoned without being too salty. Very much enjoyed this place! Service was pretty standard and could be a bit more attentive, but overall great restaurant!

I truly don’t usually leave reviews and I’ve visited Bacetti before in 2022 and really enjoyed my experience. My friends and I visited on Sunday and we all felt that the steak tartare tasted salty and watery. We had a couple of bites and left over half of the dish untouched. When we told the server that the dish tasted off, he didn’t really react to it, which was fine since we weren’t really expecting anything. Another aspect that was disappointing was that they ran out of their chocolate tart (my favorite dish from my last time there) pretty early throughout the night – we had a 6:15pm reservation. I woke up the next morning with the most intense food poisoning. One of my friends at dinner was fine but the other mentioned a queasy stomach as well. I think for the mandatory 20% gratuity and the price of the food at Bacetti, I would’ve expected better quality and service.

This place rules! Had such a cute date night here, ordered a full course meal, food was overall incredible. Steak tartar was just on par but everything else hit. The “Viola” beet salad was a flavor bomb, the pasta was deep with flavor and perfect texture – the Cavatelli with duck was really special and stood out. The whole branzino was also perfectly cooked. Service was friendly and helpful in helping us decide what to order. Ambience was great, we sat inside in the main room at a booth where the lighting, music, and volume were all vibing. Wine was excellent, desert and amaro also very satisfactory.

Actually a 3.5, not 3. Food and ambiance were good. Ragu was not good or worth it.

The focaccia and mushroom campanelle were really good though! Server was nice but they seemed either short staffed or not
staffed well.
Attentiveness was not there to justify automatic 20% gratuity.
