Me and my fiancé decided on a spontaneous date night and stumbled upon this restaurant in Antwerp. As we entered we immediately felt cosy and relaxed. Very fast to be seated and kindly helped by the waitress. We were offered a taste of the a bottle of wine before we decided on it along with great bread and butter. The wait for our starters was quick and I almost didn’t believe how amazing the food tasted. We then had mains and after that dessert, and once again, we were blown away by the quality and taste of everything. We have tried many restaurants and none have lived up to this experience. Absolutely incredible and I will say that this is the best restaurant in Antwerp. Highly recommend.

Very cool hidden gem to go with a small group or special someone. Atmosphere gets 6 stars! The smell is amazing, as they good the meats over an open flame in the middle.

Beautiful wine cellar, full of character, with an open fire where the meat is expertly cooked. My bacon salad was fab, and our lamb mains were beautifully cooked.
Maybe a touch under seasoned for my liking, but highly recommended – watch out for the alcoves if you’re a taller person.

The only restaurant in 2 weeks in Europe BF raved about. Food great, atmosphere unique, breads etc cooked on the open fire, service great. Prices reasonable. A bit hidden but do find it!

The best restaurant in the city. Fantastic atmosphere. Real grill on the fire on your eyes. Super friendly host and fantastic meat selection. Incredibly tasty and with prepared with love 100% recommendation to visit for dinner if you stay in Antwerp! Place is located in basement and it can be tricky to find it, but it definitely worth to visist.

Great location. Love the wood fire smell. It brings the cosiness and a sense of warmth into the restaurant. Quite a rustic side of the foods and could be better. Great service. Overall, we had an enjoyable time‼️

Step down a beautiful staircase to a candle lit table next to an open fireplace.
Ambiance perfect for romance for a family meal.
Bread amazing.
Takes that open kitchen concept to a new (olde?) level.
Amazing steak (my wife’s favorite ever, too 3 for me) and great mashed potato.
Lots of wine to chose from.
It’s a must go.

Wow, what an incredible find! I don’t usually leave reviews, but this experience deserves one. Once you locate it and descend the stairs into the cellar, you’re in for a treat. Fantastic food, exceptional wine, and top-notch service. Watching the steak being cooked over an open fire right in front of you is a highlight. From the warm welcome at the door to the last bite, it’s unforgettable. Thank me later!
