I recently tried Wally’z Grill, and it’s a delight! The smash burger is a flavor explosion, the shawarma is perfectly seasoned, and their rice bowls are a must-try. The variety on their menu ensures there’s something for everyone. Friendly staff and quick service make it a top-notch food truck experience. Highly recommend!

Food was insanely delicious: the chicken rice bowl, beef shawarma, and fries were all made so well – even the rice was addicting. My one criticism was the beef shawarma felt pretty small for the price. I do appreciate how they chop it up in to bite size pieces. The first time I went the food took way longer than 15 mins to be prepared but the last time I went it was ready in less than 15 mins, it is awesome how quickly that has improved. Also the location on google maps was wrong the first time I went but now Google maps is showing the correct location. The correct location is further east down Michigan Ave here: 27077 S River Park Dr Inkster, MI 48141.
All in all I def recommend eating here I know I definitely will be regularly.

So decided to check this place out from reading the reviews and I’m glad I did food is great and to start off what I really like about the burgers is the presentation. It’s something you see in a picture and say why can’t my food look like that and that’s what that is a picture perfect burger. Can’t wait to dig into this rice bowl it’s a meal it’s self. Definitely be back for More.The rice bowl is very addicting could not stop eating it. I personally do recommend the mix. Beef gyro and chicken.

Absolute gem of a place. Small little food truck puts out big amazing meals.
Chicken Rice bowl and chicken tenders wonderfully made. They even worked with me on adding and modifying the bowl a little. I live nearby and will definitely be coming back often.

This is the absolute best place to get New York city style chicken over rice. Since we found this place, we have ordered over 20 chicken and rice dishes using delivery. I’m here at the place right now for the first time in person and I just want to recommend this place for anyone who loves New York style chicken over rice. I just flew into Detroit for work and typed into Google, “best places to eat near me!” I ended up at Wally’z Grill, not realizing it was a food truck. I am so happy I went there!!!! Wally is a great guy and he serves delicious food at a reasonable price. I got the Chicken Schwarma Combo w/ Fries and it was killer! The fries were seasoned perfectly and the Schwarma was as good as anything I have had on my travels. YOU NEED TO TRY THIS PLACE!
