Passing through Ellensburg WA and looking for a sit down restaurant, and through Google reviews found this restaurant and it did not disappoint.
Service was great. Food was excellent. Will definitely go back.
Only suggestion would be to make the trash area in the parking lot a little less of an eye sore with a fence or something.

La Santa is the real deal. I had ala carte tacos (birria, al pastor and carnitas), each better than the last! Environment feels authentically Mexican, service was exceptional, and the food! Just wow! You’re missing out, if you don’t stop in the next time you have a craving for Mexican food! Thanks La Santa team for a great lunch!

It’s cozy in here and the vintage style building is cute. Food is Amazing! Authentic! Sabroso! I had the enchiladas de habanero. Husband had ceviche with all kinds of things in it (idk) but it’s gone

My boyfriend and I come to this place all the time, it is by far, my favorite restaurant in town! The food is amazing and the staff is super nice! As soon as you are seated, they give you chips and salsa, and it tastes so good! The food is always prepared and we do not have to wait long at all to get it. Their Churro cake with ice cream is so delicious! We love this place, it’s the best Mexican Restaurant in town!

Great find about a mile off the highway in Ellensburg. It has unique artwork and some additional decoration for Dia de Los Muertos. We split a chili verde burrito and it was too much!! The meat was very tender, the verde sauce was flavorful and not salty. The burrito was burstingly stuffed.
David, the waiter is very friendly and very efficient working by himself.
If you’re in or near Ellensburg give La Santa a try.

In Ellensburg just for an afternoon. Decided on Mexican food for a late lunch. Of ALL the Mexican restaurants in town, I am so glad we selected this one. It is certainly a step up from other “family” restaurants in terms of food, vibe, and service. The place is rather small, in an old building with character (that might have been a church?). I remember eating brunch in the loft several years ago when it was a different restaurant. They have an extensive menu and everything looked delicious. The carne asada was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The beef was so tender. And it is served on top of grilled onions and peppers, which is a nice change. The pork carnitas were succulent, and served with your own little bowls of cilantro and fresh onions. My husband was in heaven. Victor, our server, was personable and friendly, sharing a bit about the history of the restaurants. Next time – and there WILL be a next time – I will try their margaritas. Today we enjoyed two different apple ciders. They were delicious! Regrettably, they were local and we won’t be able to find them here on the west side. They do have “tap to pay.” You just have to ask and take care of it at the register. No big deal.

Had lunch here while taking a break from the Music Festival. First clue the place was gonna be great are the salsa and chips. Loved the salsa so much I had to buy a bottle for home. The chips were rather tasty too, not stale as in a lot of Mexican places. We had the La Santa Omelette and Pescado Ceviche. Both quite tasty. Nopales was also on the menu. Almost tried one of those items. Next time.

This place was some of the best food I had PERIOD. We had there ceviche (bomb!), there enchilado mole (out of this world best mole I’ve ever had! Thick, authentic taste). And a birria taco which was absolutely mind blowing and soul filling.

Go her, and try anything. always get rice and beans and even better top get a mound of lettuce to top whatever you get!
