The food was fresh no issues on that. The salmon was ordered medium rare came as medium. The blackened red fish was overcooked that you hardly tasted any fish. The prices were high to what you actually received as a meal. A simple lunch cost over $80 without any refreshments. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Stumbled upon this culinary oasis while meandering through the Shenandoah mountain region, and wow—what a pleasant surprise! The chicken flautas? Absolute showstoppers. The Plantanos (fried plantains), delicious. The Boudin ball? It was okay. But everything else? chef’s kiss.

Pro tip: Don’t skip the Quinoa Salata (tri-color quinoa, cucumber, tomato, feta, red onion vinaigrette). It’s like a fresh garden party in your mouth. And if you’re lucky enough to be there on someone’s birthday, you might score a free Ube bread pudding—delicious! Not an intense Ube flavor, but still a sweet, satisfying finale that’ll make your taste buds do a little happy dance.

The vibe is pure small-town magic—dining in the heart of rural hospitality. Service? Warm and welcoming. Ambiance? Charming enough to make you forget you’re basically in the middle of nowhere.

Would I drive back through the countryside just to eat here again? Absolutely. New Iberia Kitchen, you’ve officially stolen a piece of my foodie heart.

Bon appétit, fellow wandering eaters! ️

We had an amazing meal at New Iberia Kitchen. Just came from a long hike in Shenandoah and had quite the appetite, and wow, were we pleasantly surprised with everything we ordered. The vermouth drinks were super refreshing, and the appetizers (red bean hummus with the most delicious chips ever, plantains, and pickles and chips) were scrumptious, and our mains (broccolini and chickpea pasta and the blackened chicken Alfredo) were simply delectable. The wait staff / manager were super friendly too, and the ambiance of the space is charming and homey. Can’t wait to come back, definitely recommend.

Stopped in on a Friday afternoon for lunch and were so glad we did. Our meals were so delicious: mixed olives appetizer, “boudin burger” & potato salad, daily special of fried catfish with fries. We had nice drinks from the bar. The atmosphere is fresh and inviting. The service was very attentive and friendly…Robin was our server. We can’t wait to come back.

Very nice food and service. I had the flautas and gumbo, and basque cheesecake for dinner, all very good. My server was super friendly and gave great recommendations. Would love to come back again and would definitely recommend this place.
Food is on the slightly saltier side imo, but nothing too crazy. Perfect for after long sweaty days exploring the park. But I’d consider slight adjustments if you have diet restrictions.

We had an amazing lunch on Friday. The space is beautiful. The staff were eager to make sure our experience was great. The kitchen worked edible magic. Many of the dishes could have been heavy handed, but the chefs clearly had faith in their skills and ingredients, allowing the dishes to be light and flavorful. We would gladly drive the three hours to eat here again!

New Iberia was wonderful from start to finish. Our server Jordan was informative, kind, & on top of service. The house cocktails were delicious. We started with the fried oysters, yummy. Entrees were the shrimp & blackened red fish, both were so flavorful and hit the spot. We will be back for sure! It was a great experience.

I had an amazing lunch at New Iberia Kitchen! The fried chicken and biscuits were absolutely perfect—the chicken was crispy and flavorful, and the biscuits were buttery and flaky. The portion was generous, and every bite was pure comfort.

The service was friendly and attentive, and the cozy atmosphere made it a great spot to unwind. If you’re craving delicious Southern-inspired food, this place is a must-visit.
