I ordered the Cajun shrimp and grits. It came out looking beautiful and the aroma was amazing! The shrimp were cooked perfectly! The grits were cooked well; however, there was no flavor to them. The dish was lacking the Cajun flavor. The only flavor you could taste was butter. I do not think I would order this again.
They have a nice selection of drinks! I tried something new and it was very good!
Although I overall enjoyed the experience, the food was not great. I ordered a Caesar salad with brussel sprouts and it was just too much brussel sprouts. They were uncooked and unseasoned so it just felt like I was eating brussel sprouts. And it was a lot of brussel sprouts. My colleagues had another dish thatcontained brussels sprouts that were cooked and they weren’t much better though.
Overall, the food dishes were somewhat disappointing for such a lovely spot.
The place was clean though and parking was accessible.
For was decent. Chefs did a nice job.
Cafe style food, nothing major.
The only thing a little weird was not being acknowledged by the two people working in the back. Maybe they weren’t aware that no one was at the front counter when we walked in. So they simply broke eye contact without inquiry as we sought service.
We look forward to coming here more and more!
