This is a fabulous place to eat! Great food, Great service, and a great atmosphere. Our friends had the schnitzel special, and I wish I’d had it too. They told me it was delicious after eating every bite. We had the tacos and the burger, which were both excellent. Absolutely coming back here. They take reservations, which is really nice.

I’m visiting from out of town for work and met a group of coworkers here for dinner. The ambiance was nice! The staff were so friendly! I got the warm kale salad and it was amazing. We also got a pazooki and it was so yummy! They also had a great beer and wine menu too. Will definitely comeback next time I’m in town!

Every time we dine here it’s the highlight of our week! Best restaurant in Missoula, hands down. If you want a cozy home cooked meal that is casual for any weeknight or a fancy occasion; you’ve found your place. Chef Owners Karen and Barrett have created a true gem for Missoula that we are fortunate to have. Their simple, yet deliberate menu has everything you could want out of an elevated casual dining experience with well crafted dishes that never disappoint. We’ve had nearly everything on the menu, from the Buffalo Cauliflower appetizer to Burgers and Warm Kale Salad, it’s all incredible. Personally, we are consistent diehards for the Salmon with Lemon Risotto and Beurre Blanc sauce, as well as the Steak Frites; as its accompanying sauce is sumptuous. That being said, don’t forget dessert. They are known for the warm walnut chocolate chip cookie sundae that always has us taking one home for snacking later.
Truly can’t say enough wonderful praises of The Patio and what they have created; a restaurant perfect in every way in our eyes. Thank you Karen, Barrett, and staff!

We took a vacation and went here for my birthday. It was so lovely. The vibe is so chill and natural. The host and the servers are all very friendly and patient. I didn’t feel rushed to order or anything. It was very hot and I totally ordered the cold soup. It was very refreshing. Perfect for this time of year. The food was yummy. I ordered the shrimp pasta dish and I think it could be a little bit more season but it was still good. I really don’t have any complaints. Also we ordered the berry pie at the end of dessert and the bees loved it. The scenery is very nice.

The Patio has really evolved into an amazing restaurant! The food is excellent, it’s a beautiful, cozy and comfortable atmosphere, and the staff are fantastic. My only critique: it would be great to have one vegan protein option that isn’t a veggie burger, however there are vegetarian options. ALL of the food we have tried has been delicious so far!

Nice, casual. I had a shrimp pasta that was very simple oil sauce. Good, not great. Desset was a pancreas destroying, but tasty flourless torte. I live on the otherside of town and don’t think I be making the trip over again too soon.

Really good food and excellent low key service that was really well done. Dining room was a bit noisy and could use further acoustic dampening. I had the halibut special that was excellent. Very glad to have eaten at this nice neighborhood restaurant.

My wife and I moved to the Rattlesnake in October and thought we would give this place a shot.
We were so impressed. This has been our new go-to and have been 15 times since. My favorite is the salmon and risotto or the steak frites, both of which NEVER disappoint. However I think it’s worth it to give the specials a chance, as they have great ones. Honestly, they could serve hotdogs and grilled cheeses, and we would still come for the people. Karen and Barrett are so nice, and that passes on to their employees.

We came here for the good reviews but were totally disappointed. Then I realized most of those reviews were at least a year ago. Both of the ($15) burgers we had were overcooked and had no flavor at all. The bun and fries were burnt. When the waiter asked how everything is, I told her about the fries since they’re easily replaceable. However, she just said “I’m sorry” with no attempt to make it up, which made me think that she was asking for the sake of asking. I guess either or both the chef or management have changed.
