Me and my wife decided this month to try a new breakfast place on Sundays and found this gem. the place has such a friendly small town feel and the waitress was the best. I have to say the pancake was amazing and i need to know the special recipe! she wouldn’t tell me !

Another great breakfast at MJs!! Biscuits, omelets, grits, hash browns, sausage, scrabbled eggs w cheese and darn good coffee. All served with a warm, friendly smile!

I work in Elberta so there is few lunch choices. I decided to order a mushroom swiss burger today. When I called I was asked if “french fries were ok?” I asked if there were any other options or if it was possible to get a cup of soup which was being offered with the lunch special. I was told “yes, that will be ready in 10 minutes.” When I arrived, it was $19.00 before tax. I was never told there would be an upcharge for the soup. I said that I didn’t want the soup and I was charged full price for the burger and fries meal, but not offered to replace my fries. I wound up paying almost $16.00 for just a burger.
The food is good, but It would really be nice if there was some better communication. I mean can a cup of soup really cost that much more than fries?

The staff here are all so kind and was top notch service. At entry, it provides such a feel good home atmosphere. The breakfast was delicious and very tasty. The pricing is reasonable, and I was impressed with the quality of bacon. 10/10 MJS. Elberta is lucky to have a such a location.

Food was great, servers were attentive, and the coffee was fresh and hot!
We walked in at 7am (opening time) and they were ready and we were waited on almost immediately. The pancakes were very tasty – highly recommend getting at least one! Very well priced and everything came out quickly and accurately!
